Not understanding why Nederland doesn't have #21 Weisbrod down in the post. HJ's Prudhomme still hasn't made any drives to the basket yet, all outside shots.

I too think there are better fits for the SLC than HBU. Seems a bit hasty and desperate. Just because HBU "hung" with Lamar in basketball a few seasons ago, doesn't make them a good fit for all sports in the SLC. ;) ::)

I'll be broadcasting the Vidor/Angleton game (play-by-play) Friday night, then broadcasting the Ozen/LaMarque game (color) on Saturday afternoon. I'll finish my weekend with a trip back to GPISD to do a live game blog of the Nederland/Pearland Dawson game Saturday night.

A very tough back to back games for Woodville. WOS today followed by Silsbee tomorrow night.

Personally, I do not have a problem with those two players missing the first game of the season (a non district game) because of an all region choir contest. The choir contest was much more important than the basketball game. Now if this were a district or playoff basketball game, then I would have a problem with it.
