Just so folks know the truth, contrary to what some rouge Galveston reporter tweeted, UIL did not make any ruling with this case nor did they make any statement clearing LaMarque of any wrong doing. The statement saying that UIL stated that LaMarque did nothing to start the brawl is just plain bogus. UIL has not made any statement, let alone that statement. The fact is, UIL will not be making any ruling on this situation. Bottom line, both teams were at fault. Lets move on.

Playoffs two of three years and really should have gone in 2008. Most of the team back next (especially defense). Now, I just want to see the basketball team get back to the levels of acheivement I know it can reach and [b]I think we have the right coach to do it with[/b]. [/quote] I too think you have a good coach in Coach Larry Sterling and he should do good things with that program. With that said, there was nothing wrong with the coach you had in Zach Quinn. I have always been impressed with Zach and was really taken aback when he decided to get out of coaching so soon. But, I cannot blame him for trying to move up that administrative ladder. He obviously has bigger aspirations than just being a basketball coach and kudos to him for making that step forward. I still wouldn't mind seeing Zach back coaching somewhere.
