Silsbee started their tradition in late 60's with their first state tourney appearance in 1972.

I saw Terry a few times at the state tourney with his Broaddus team. His 9th, 10th and 11th grade years were the best Broaddus teams, his senior year they made it to the tourney but was beat in semis. Terry was a man among boys, that's for sure.

If Reed went down, it would be very tough for Silsbee. Over 1500 total yards in first 5 games. That would be tough on any team to lose.
