  1. Bush and Martin combined for 60 of Silsbee's 75 points. Both had 30.
  2. Kirbyville 18 Hardin 33
  3. Hopefully they are at full squad Friday night. I am coming up there for their game with Coldspring.
  4. Is there a Diboll score?
  5. Neither United nor Memorial can play a warm up game. Both will have played their max of 21 games plus 3 tourneys when district is over. They can only play a seed or play in game and that certainly will not happen with PAM.
  6. GCM 61 Baytown Lee 54
  7. Garrison 47 Shelbyville 54
  8. Broaddus 80, Colmesneil 27
  9. Ball High 57, Santa Fe 35
  10. Jasper 60 Center 54
  11. North Shore 63 LaPorte 42
  12. Timpson 45, Martinsville 22
  13. Hemphill 78, Corrigan 62
  14. West Brook 58 CE King 24
  15. I predict 22-4A to go 3-1. Huffman will win their game against whoever is the 4 seed. I have seen every team in district 21-4A play except Splendora. I just don't see Livingston, Shepherd, Liberty or Tarkington beating Silsbee, HJ, LCM, WO-S, Lumberton or Hamshire-Fannett. I mean Tarkington just recently (within the last month) lost to Lumberton who is currently sitting 5th in 22-4A. 21-4A is 6-11 against teams from district 21-4A this season. Huffman has 4 of those wins (Shepherd and Liberty have 1 each). None of the teams have played Silsbee and none of the wins are against HJ. As for the berth to regionals, I'll take Silsbee and HJ over Huffman. Not a toss up.
  16. At H-F, sticking with that one. They may have played their best game against Silsbee, but what happened to them against a WO-S team who just lost to BC? Lumberton has lost 4 of their last 6 games so one could say they are not playing better now than they were several games ago.
  17. Thanks. Will make the correction. And it will.
  18. Oops. Glad you caught that. Suppose to be Shepherd -4

  22. I'm certainly not saying that others haven't done it. But, call it what it is. Don't tell me that they didn't transfer in. I know that they did. I'll let the DEC decide if they are eligible to play. As of now, they are eligible and that's what matters. What is not "cool" is using the excuse of "well others are doing it". That is not a defense of why one does. The thing about this particular situation is that H-F gets a brand new head coach (one who has never been a HC) and also get 4 new players to transfer in.(some are saying there are more to come) That would look suspicious at any level. But, looks can be so deceiving. I can understand parents wanting to leave a bad school district for a better one (not for athletic purposes) if that would be the case. I certainly can understand why some coaches in the district would want to look into this but if paperwork and residency is all legit, then it's all good.
