Silsbee's defense has given up 30 points a game for the season. Sorry, but that's not really a good defense. Tigers will have to be much better defensively next week.

Since the LC-M game, Silsbee is on a 6 game win streak, averaging 46 points a game. Defense is giving up 23 points a game. Silsbee's defense hasn't really had to do much with the offense scoring 46 a game. That will have to change this next game. Silsbee's defense will have to play it's best game to have any chance of beating Carthage. Tiger offense will score (not likely 46) but should get 2-3 TD's at least. Tiger defense will have to get several stops and/or turnovers. This game will be on the Silsbee defense, not the offense.

Barnes has a little "pay back" from that regional final against Yates last year. He got in early foul trouble and ended up fouling out scoring just 4 points if I remember correctly. 3 of those foul calls were pretty bogus.

Snead's team won but it wasn't because Snead out played Hefner. His team out played Nederland. It is quite obvious that your posts are to spew your dislike or hate towards anything Nederland. It's been that way for a while. Not sure why you have to single a player out in your hate monger posts. Oh I know, you only do it to get a rise out of Ned fans and others. My point being that if you were there watching the entire game, you would have seen that Hefner did all he could to help his team win the game, points or no points. The 8 point loss was not on Hefner like you are suggesting or alluding to. Like I stated in my post game summary, Ned losing their PG to foul trouble hurt them the most. HJ caused some turnovers late and made the most of them, including hitting the free throws down the stretch. IMO, this game was more about HJ playing well than Hefner not scoring 50 for Soulja.
