No. Just some things the two coaches disagreed on from a summer league a few years ago. To be honest, I don't think either coach had any interest in scheduling each other over the past few seasons. At least Joe didn't. He was looking for much bigger fish to fry. And I was stating that I would take the Silsbee teams of last few seasons over the '04 Kountze team. I am not saying that you could combine several of those Kountze teams over 30 years and still not beat Silsbee. That would be silly.

I'm taking Silsbee over that Kountze team. Call me a hater.

Watched plenty of Kountze during those seasons. I disagree.

Recommend any eating establishments in the Onalaska/Trinity area? Have ate at several Livingston places. Want to try something new.

SA had played 6 games prior to the first Woden game. Had been practicing and playing for three weeks. Dec. 26-28 - Tenaha Holiday Hoops Elysian Fields, 70-42 Atlanta, 40-64 Tenaha JV, 62-35 Lipan, W Garrison, 41-50 Dec. 30 - Hemphill, 56-53 Jan. 3 - at Woden, 38-40* If Woden isn't all that good, shouldn't have SA beat them at home by more than 10?

It's my understanding that as long as the current two coaching staffs are at each school, a Kountze vs. Silsbee game will not happen.

After watching Kountze play last season in what was one of if not the worst season in their history (winning just 3 games last year, arguably the worst Kountze team that I had ever seen) I was curious to see how the Lions would be this season. Well, after watching them earlier this season and then broadcasting their win last night over Buna, I am here to claim that things are all right in the local basketball world because Kountze Lion basketball is back! The Lions looked like what we around here have always been accustomed to seeing and it makes me very happy to see this fantastic turnaround. I am so happy for Coach Joubert and the Lion faithful. They went through an embarrassing season last year going 3-26. Only 1 district win. Now, the Lions are back on top of the district and look to be a force in the playoffs. Kudos to the coaches and players for putting last season behind them and getting back to Kountze basketball. I said it last week and will say it again. The local boys high school basketball scene is so much better when Kountze is battling for district and regional titles. The Lions are back!!

Said it before district play started that this was the toughest district. Even posted a thread about it.
