I am very bias when it comes to these boy cause i fill i am closer to alot of them than some of my family members. but from what i have read this will be a tuff game. we are lacking some speed that we have had in the past but their off better not take long to develop cause our front is as good as i have seen (myself that is) Matt dees scotty gilmore and the awesome KEVIN THOMPSON. we have some speed with fountain i look for i break out game fromm DE DE

Why is it Deweyville always plays the small schools in preseason,you are not gaining anything by beating a team with 18 players. Why not step up and challenge your team.If you watch Newton,EC,CC they do not choose the push overs in preseason.It pays off in the long run,look at their records.Try a 2a or 3a team an learn where you are at.

i talked to the HD coaches and they said it will be a tough game. tenaha lost by just a few to maude(not sure about the spelling)

i was looking around on the net and it said there is no such thing as a black panther. i remember a cougar being killed in hardin county a few years ago. i am not sure how to put a site on here so if you have time do a search for mountain lion mule and look at these pic.

i dont think that its hardin has been given to much credit i think HD has not been given enough. HD has now beat 3 of the teams in the 2A district. there is still room for improvement but great game boys. now as isaid in earlyer post cook should wear #34

The oldest one plays post and not sure about the youngest havnt seen him play since little dribblers but would probly play post or like a power foward cause he is a big strong kid. and yes they are origanlly from HD thats the reason they come back the oldest wanted to grad. from where he went to school so long.

I dont think HD will have a better team this year mainly because we will not be as deep. i fill our top 4 and if things go right and the kids work hard maybe our top 6 have a chance of being as good last year hopefully better but only time will tell.

well IMO it will hard for HD to hold the lead late in the game because of numbers. but make no mistake about it if Hardin wins they will have done something. HD looks very tough our prob is really and truly we or only about 13 or 14 deep. and about playing bigger kids this class of kids grew up playing sports against each other. the cook kid would be starting RB at any school in lib. county he went to except maybe dayton and he should wear #34

ifill for HD to pull out the upset we will have to get pressure on their QB, our secondery will have to step up and we also have to control the vilamez kid(he beat us in 7 on 7) with that said i still pick HD by 6

IMO deweyville has the talent and sure have the hart , boys play hard, but they were not used right. the kids look big and strong , take advantage of that. Deweyville will kill warren  in district. so keep your heads up. and if i remember the pirates used to play smash mouth ball not all the tackleing and blocking low, am i right just wandering

Hull Daisetta beat Deweyville 2-1 in the controlled scrimmage and the 2-live quarters of play ended 0 - 0.  However, HD dominated the scrimmage on both sides of the ball, if not for 2-turnovers deep in Deweyville territority HD would have scored more points.  Deweyville's offensive total for the WHOLE scrimmage was close to negative total yards. HD is a very good, well Coached team that will do very well this year, on the other hand, Deweyville is in trouble.  Unless changes are made, Deweyville will be lucky to win 1-game this year.  Again, congrats to HD, they looked very fast, and well Coached.

Was Deweyville beating themselves are could they just not do anything?

HD will shock people this year, they are bigger and stronger than they have been in a long time.

HD beat Warren 5 to nothing. HD looked really balenced will not throw as much but probably will have quite a few passing yards because our running game is going to be as good as it has been in years. A Cook and K. Gilmore both run for TDs. Elliott connected with D. Fountain and J. Fregia for TD passes and Fountain had an int. for a TD

no im not saying they aregoing to be better at first but i fill the starting five will be as good if not better midway through season, but may be shallow on bench

i think that HD will win the district this year in a tough game over Evadale. yes Evadale has more numbers coming back but i think they are young so i think we can out athlete them. yes HD lost some speed but i think we still have the fastest kid in the district maybe in Dickerson, 6' 2" 200lb and cook is in better shape than ever. and with Elliott at QB whats wrong with cook left dickerson right then maybe a pass to fontain. nothing wrong with that to me
