well warren was ranked over HD and HD beat them again. HD lost to a state ranked team and has beat the three team right above them ,one twice, even though they are 2A.

High Island will finish the season.  We won't get all of our kids back but we will fight with the ones we get back.

as a HD fan i would have loved to see HD and kountze play IF the hurricane had not come in. being a 1A i fill HD needed to be practicing for conditioning as much as anything to be able to play at top level for 4 qtrs. so now i am glad we took the warren game 

HD looked rough and rusty from not going to school and only a few days practice. all in all we done OK but our secondary needs to step up! I WILL SAY ONE THING #12 FOR WARREN IS TOUGH CAUSE HE GOT LIT UP AND STAYED IN . GOOD JOB!

the school district from tenaha drove 3 and a half hours to bring food and water to hulol daisetta yesterday would like to say that is about as classy as it gets. thanks tenaha

look at the skill comparison we have back at HD the only player kountze had that was first team all district. and correct me if i am wrong last year ya won but or running game was not much and we passed for almost 300 yds. this year we have a good running game and passing is almost as good. HD is a much much better team this year.

i like what you say about sam cause i am pretty close to him but cook and gilmore open the passing game up. i did not predict a score in or winner in the last game but i say HD will beat kontze. kountze won last year but the stats were close sam elliott threw for right at 300 yds. and this year its in HD and we now have back the only player kountze had to be 1st team all district both ways.

whats the difference in me threatening and you downing our school system and downing slack and his coaching staff. I GEUSS THIS IS WHERE IT ALL LIES -IMO- they are the best set i have seen in my time and can tell you a lot of the town fills the same way. and as for as your earlyer post about competing  at a  state level you cant coach talent. a player like the #5 from tenaha will make any one look good. and me being out of touch with this team i dont think so. i am man enough to say sorry for threatening youit was unclassy like your post were also.

i agree our receivers played well and i fill the youngest gilmore gained some confidence.

Taking nothing away from tenaha they are good but HD will be around in the playoffs

Love the Cats, but I knew that Tenaha was going to be to much for us! Maybe next year when we play them at home! The only way in my opinion for the Cats to compete at a state level with the likes of Tenaha is for the school board to stop trying to save a fewber for  bucks and get real coaches to come to H-D! Money talks and when you pay the bottom of the barrell money to coachs (Slack) this will always be the end result. Havent had a top coach in H-D since Copeland left in 99'. Sure, we will probably win District and go to the playoffs like always, then lose in the first round, likes always. But again...until the school board unasses some cash this will always be.   Of course, my opinion............

tenaha 48 HD 22 tenaha has the best running back i have ever seen #5. the game was alot closer than the score i know everyone says that but let me backit up with stats. 1st downs HD 16  Tenaha 18, total yards HD 358  Tenaha 427, rushing 41 times for 234 yds Tenaha 33 times for 337 yds, passing 7 of 15 with 1 int 2tds for 124yds Tenaha 6 of 12 with 1 int for 90 yds,penaltys HD 10 for 80 yds  Tenaha 10 for 70yds. big play killed us. way to give it your all

forgot why i looked at this tread. would like to say that the villamez young man is a great player, ahtlete , and a class act. showed great sportsmanship and great effort. after game i walked by him and said good game young man, AND HE STUCK HIS HAND OUT AND SAID THANK YOU SIR!!!! HD-Bobcat 55, is the 55 an indication of your IQ? You obviously have an issue with reading, I hear Sylvan works quite well for people like you. My post had zero excuses in it, only clear intelligent observations. OH, my bad, I'm talking way too smart for an IQ of 55. You dominated the line of scrimmage and thats it. You had 3 extra points, we didn't, and thats the difference, the only difference. Also, trust me, we're all excited about you playing Kountze too.

you are correct to a point.  HD had 2 terrible kickoffs one that gave ya the ball inside the 45(terrible effort) and ya stopped HD at the 1 yd line and HD had 1 int and almost 2. so must have done more than just control front.

if you read the bottom of bobcats9 page it says something like"there is no limit to what can be done when no one cares who gets the credit" that is these boys exactly i can tell you for sure elliott does not know how many yards he threw for, cook does not know how many yards he had, gilmore or dees do not know how many tackles they had. cook and elliott dont know their numbers from last year (elliott over 1500yds passing and not sure about cook off top of head). but what i am getting at is all these boys care about is a WIN!!!
