Oregon State (6-3) beat USC (8-1) early in the season.  It is not really valid to say that Oregon State should be ranked ahead of USC because they beat them.

HD graduated 2 starters and they were 2 of our 3 that scored 17 a game. Elliott is still here of the 3. i fill our front 5 or 6 will be as good and maybe hopefully end up being better than last year but we wont have the bench we had last year so we better be in shape. look for dickerson and fountain to be huge this year and cook is in better shape than the past. and we have a soph that played summer leauge that will improve win coach henry gets him. i was told Sabine pass will not play is this true ? i hope not

This game will determine if the cardinals can go to playoffs. It is worth to much for the cards to let the bobcats breeze through. This game will be a battle till the last whistle. The cards have had a great season and plan to continue it with a "W" against HD. Cook is a great player, but will not break the cards defence, and as for the cats "weapons"...it seems to be that Cook is the only weapon, when cook is out..the bobcats fall apart, ( against evadale). We will have to wait and see what happens.

you may want to think again about this comment yes cook is great i know he lives at my house but he was out for 2 full games and HD put up over 120 points we will not be flat and it will not be a game HD by a bunch . the bobcats have learnt ther leason about taking teams lightly. they took evedale lihgtly and got whipped! i nominate elliott from HD was 9 of 13 for 140 yds with 3 tds and 6 solo tackles on D clearly won the qb matchup between him and first cousin copeland. but hannas numbers are awsome

So you're saying that HD could actually compete in 23-AA? HD is great in the minds of HD, nowhere elso though, sorry to burst your bubble. Also, Mitch has been in Hardin since peewee football, Miles became what he is as a result of his dad making a good move and getting his son somewhere he can achieve, and Nolan would have excelled anywhere, but he really thrived once he got to Hardin. I hope his little brother gets out of Liberty and moves to Hardin too. No way is HD ranked higher than Hardin, you're district is weak and everyone knows it, that's why you're lower. One last thing, being from Hardin I'm required to be a HD hater, just like you've been taught all your life to be a Hardin hater. For the record though, I know several boys on the HD squad and coaches and in no way am I wishing any ill will towards the team.

HD 31 WH 0. the qoute abot take these 2 boys out and WH has more talent YOU HAVE LOST YOUR MIND!!!!!!!!!!!THATS ALL I AM GONNA SAY TILL ITS OVER !  and on the evadale game yes no doubt evadale won fair and square. but no question HD had a bad game came off a 55 to nothing win and went in over confident and flat. evadale was the reason for the bad game except for the ATLEAST 18 points dropped with no one around! our receivers dropped more that night than they have all year. would it have changed the outcome thats for each to decide. well i cant keep quiet WH mor talent HD has dickerson ,bigger faster and stronger than anyone on WH, elliott, threw for over 1600 yds last year and for over a 1000 already this year was 1st team all regional DB as a soph. got screwed out of 1st team QB last year had almost 3 times as many yrds. Fountain, FRegia , Scotty gilmore, yancy mac, matt dees, KEVIN tompson, cory huckaby, and the one that you will meet come kickoff KEITH GILMORE ( a monster) the hardest hitter on the team and a soph. yep here come the bobcats!!!

will be the first to say congrats evadale. was a hard fought game with to many hard hits to count. both teams left it on the feild. evadale controled the line of scrimmage like crazy. get a life bushpilot this tread is sussosed tobe about the game not grownups. good luck rebs and cats in the rest of the season

  Evadale, Daisetta & West Hardin all scored over 40 points in their games.  I hope that these games live up to the hype.

I hope they end up being games. the game against burkville was to lopsided for my taste. it ws 42 to 0 at half. our top 8 players had their shoulder pads off at the begining of the 4th qtr. 3 or 4 in the 3rd.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        HD 36    Evadale 6

There is for sure Panthers in the area.  I have bobcats on my property nightly and have several witnesses who have seen the cougar, jaguar or panthers... in the same area.  I have witness with my own ears the screaming of the cats as they sound eerily like a screaming crying baby.  The cattle ranchers have seen them for a long while around here.  I live in sabine pass and yes they are here.  Not to long ago the port arthur news did a story and pic of the cougars being spotted near hiway 365 and near intercoastal waterway by the port arthur refinery.  As for shooting them I believe you need to check the laws.  Long tail cats might be protected.  Bobcats however are legal.

there is no doubt in my mind there are cougars, or panthers which ever you wnt to call them, in our parts . i have not seen one but did find a calf in the fork of a tree one day while working cows. i was just saying i have heard people talk about black panthers but science says there is no such thing.
