They can wear jeans and t-shirts, I've seen other bands do that on bad weather days at games...

I thought the same thing last night. Hell, I would supply my own respirator and do it...

As cheap as they are on fixing the school the right way, I doubt that will be their solution. They will try to get food brought over from another school cafeteria if anything...

There instruments are locked in one of the buildings that they won't allow anyone into.

I don't want them to return to the campus until it's TRULY ready for them to return. Even if that means tearing it down and rebuilding it. They should have never been in there...

1. I agree, 2 teams will be fighting for 3 spots between Central, Nederland and Vidor. 2. Vidor has had 2 scrimmages (WO-S & H-J) despite not having an actual game. So it's not like they haven't seen any other team. The good thing about their offense is they have been running it since middle school so I don't expect too many issues there. 3. Playing in Vidor and us having none of the things that go with football games (band, dancers, etc.) besides cheerleaders may very well wipe any advantage out. Plus the fact, lets be real. The senior Jaguars have the issues going on with their school and how this will affect their graduation on their minds. Can Nelson get them to focus solely on football for 3 hours? 4. Jaguars got bullied last week. Will they be the bully's tonight or be bullied again?

Sorry but no. If not for a fumble on the one yard line last week week, the Panthers would have lost to Lee.

I'll give you a small nugget of the many issues in their announcement... 2. Central High School ninth grade students will return to school at the CHS campus in buildings that are separate from the main Central High School structure. A starting date will be announced as soon as all logistical components are addressed. So they want the freshman back on the main campus, that is currently off limits to everyone, besides the field house that is about 100 yards away. So how are they planning on feeding these kids? The cafeteria that they just spent a half a million dollars on renovating this summer, is in the middle of the main building which is supposedly where the issues are. The band hall and girls gym are not directly attached to the main building but the band members can not get their instruments and attire neither can the volleyball team or the Silversteppers?

Do you live here or have any kids here? Nevermind, I will not entertain you tonight...

With no Jaguar band and Silversteppers, this will be a little different environment. Football team is ready to redeem themselves...

For once in my life, I wouldn't mind hearing Cherokee at our game tomorrow since our band won't be able to participate due to all equipment and attire being locked in the school...

Yea I heard that option from a meeting I just left. I don't think it's the best viable option. The more I think about it, I prefer the Summer Creek/Kingwood option...

For the school year of 2018-2019, I wouldn't be surprised...

Found out today, that the portable buildings that BISD owned when they were rebuilding Regina-Howell and South Park, have been sold. Due to all the damage across the state from Harvey, portables are hard to find and on high demand...
