Supposedly from what I was just told is that a kid that has been playing at Central since his sophomore year who was staying with his mom in Beaumont, their home was destroyed in Harvey. Supposedly he went to stay with his dad in PA through this ordeal but still attended school at Central.

That it is early in the season but Central girls have a lot of work to do to get one of the 4 spots for the playoffs. That Hardin-Jefferson will win their own tournament... That Barbers Hill will win this tournament...

I remember when West Brook and Central use to pack their respective gyms when they played each other, now they don't even play each other unless they meet in a tournament but the football teams are forced to play each other yearly (minus Harvey). Go figure...

Yea, he probably is a little sleep deprived with all that he does on this board plus his personal life. Days and months tend to run together...

If it wasn't for a late fumble, Lee would have beaten Ozen earlier in the year. I'll have to take Ozen in this one. #17 for the Lions doubles as their QB and WR. The bad part about it is that if he is at QB, you know it's a running play. If he is at WR, you know it's a pass play.

Going to come down to Barbers Hill and H-J. I'm surprised they are in the same pool...

I doubt they play each other. With probably 8 teams in the district next year, leaving 3 non-district games, I doubt Faircloth puts the Titans on the schedule. It has become a great game between the 2 that I would like to see continue but I don't think so...

Well hopefully him or someone will keep you updated on the outcomes for the working people...

... I wonder how many of our girls may miss the Saturday games do to homecoming activities.
