Seth was a classmate of mine when I was still in school at Shepherd back in 2004-2005. Very capable of getting these guys ready to complete this year especially if he has learned anything coaching knowledge from his father. ( A very good coach and even better man).
Seth and Zach are both VERY good coaches. Zach is due for a baseball title at some point.

Anahuac is playing a lot of close games. If they can figure it out at the plate, they have a shot at one of the top 2 spots
Lost to Hardin last night. They aren’t going top-2.

The top three in the AL West are really good teams. Seattle (my team since moving there in 1997) is 32-14 in last 46 and 15-2 in last 17 road games, but they can't keep this up. The question is whether they can stay in the race. It's definitely fun right now.
Seattle has some staying power. Texas is in a free fall. Injuries and bats going silent are killing them. The Astros are their own worst enemy right now. Their biggest thing is they have been there and done it for the past 6 years. Pitching needs to come around or Seattle will win the division.
My guess:
1. Astros
2. Seattle
3. Texas (Misses playoffs)

I noticed a new New Caney ISD HS opened this year. West Fork Gators appear to be starting out in 4A. Any other new high schools coming on line?
Opened last year. Sophomores and freshman only this year.
I’m guessing they start Varsity next year.

Solid tournaments for them except maybe the Tarkington one.
According to MaxPreps it looks like
Anahuac, Cleveland, Caney Creek, and Hamshire Fannett along with Huffman, Hardin, and Tarkington. Not sure who else. Haven’t looked that much further…

It’s a decent amount of travel for all those schools except maybe Huffman. They probably just wanna play in closer tournaments.
