1. It looks like the Tatum Eagles aren't any better sports off the field than they are on the field. Cheap shots! Not very flattering I must say. I do hope that " Eagleborn " is not a true representation of the Tatum Eagles. If he is then the respect factor just dropped tremendously. In spite of this, Tatum has a very talented team and if they keep their heads about them they could go several rounds.
 2.

Tatum could of been beat!!! Not anything special. Newton or EC would be them. Next week probably there last against the Yoemen!!!
What did you see with Tatum and the game overall?  Strengths & Weaknesses?  I heard a report somewhere that the starting RB from Woodville was out in the 2nd half...is this true?
Starting running back/linebacker was having some trouble breathing. Didn't play as much but did play some plays in the second half.
 3. Tatum is a good team. Made some adjustments and got some breaks. Refs were AWFUL in the second half. Did not effect the overall outcome. Not blaming them by any means. But they were horrible. And very unprofessional.
 4. 21-13 Tatum at half. Woodville gets the ball back in the third. They've been able to do.what they want with it most of the night. Not much defense to this point. Both teams with one stop/punt apiece.
 5. Neil Hennigan took them to state two or three times in the early 2000's. Might've won it one of those years. Not sure. I know they went. They have a very storied and one of the most successful 1A programs in the state. So, in response to your question, baseball. They're good at baseball down there. And have been for awhile.
 6. They will be decent. The heighth of the 6'10" kid plays a huge roll on Colmesneils team. He isnt as terrible as Waterboy is saying. Teams kill them as a result of overwhelming speed. Theyre extremely slow. If they get in basketball shape, theyll be decent.
 7.
Woodvilles best bet is to have long, time consuming drives on offense. The less you keep the ball out of Overstreets hands, the better.. But don't think Overstreet is all that Tatum has or it will be a long night.
Exactly what I was thinking.
 8.
I'm from the Wville and have seen both teams. I hope they keep it close. Its gonna be a long night for us!!
Okay so when you saw Tatum, did you see there 1-point win over Jefferson? Or maybe their 2-point win over White Oak? OR their 3-point loss to Harmony? This isn't the same dominating Tatum as in years past. They're good. But not as good.
 9.
A Woodville defense that was weak against the run and looked lost against the past... A Woodville offense that his predictable and a line that indicates the direction of play...
Oh okay. Well good luck on Thursday. lol
 10. Oops. lol Thursday, November 10th. My bad.
 11. Id say, if you talk to them, it would definitely be baseball. They have a decent program over there.
 12. I just know that if the 6'6" and 6'10" kids would move to Woodville, we'd push them and make them a WHOLE lot better than they are now. If Colmesneil ever gets a coach who cares about basketball and knows the game better, they could be decent.
 13. 7:00 PM @Abe Martin Stadium in Lufkin, Texas. Should be a good game. Let me know what yall think.

I hope he did, I wish the best for him.
Yes, but limited
Is he getting any attention from any colleges?? maybe not for tailback. But a solid slot reciever/full back.

 16.
If my math is right CS finished District play with; 550 points scored 67 points allowed That looks like pretty good defense to me.  I don't know how many of those points were scored against the secondary though.  That's in 10 games.
This might be one of the best 3A teams weve had around here in a looong time.
 17.
Woodville, East Chambers, and Newton should represent 10-2A well. As for Buna, we better be getting ready for the move to 3A next season.
Very true. Gonna be tough for them. Especially with the tough 3A competition around here. WOS, Jasper, COLD SPRING, Kville, Huffman, etc. Buna better step up or it could be a long season next year for the cougars.
 18.
I have an idea!! If you dont like how things are ran do something about it. Go to school and get a degree and certify in a subject. Then get a job teaching and coaching at Buna. You can probably get things accomplished faster this way than getting on here and running down coaches. Oh yea, if you already have a degree you can contact texasteachers.org out of Houston. It is an alternative teaching program. Take a couple of test to get certified and well see you on the sidelines.  :o
hahaha well said buna95
 19. Great game. Woodvilles still going to week 11 though.

 21. If Cold Spring is in that district, they should have ANOTHER easy district schedule. lol
 22.

Actually its 10 as of this past week. And because if Buna beats Woodville, there would be a three-way tie for third. Which, then it would come down to a points spread. In which Buna would have to beat Woodville by 10+ AND hope for Anahuac to lose to Hardin. So, its not looking very good for the ole coogs this year.
And not really for anahuac ethierr... I really thing Woodville will be the 3rd team out of the district... But one thing forsure District 10 2A will be well represented no matter who makes the 3rd spot.
Yes, I agree. I think Buna is coming into this game banged up and Woodville is on too big of a roll to not win this game. East Chambers, Newton, Woodville, Buna, Anahuac. All of these teams would represent this district extremely well.

 24.
what has to happen for buna to make the playoffs, people are throwing out different scenerios, just wanting to get the bottom line.
Buna must beat Woodville by 13 or more and Anahuac must lose, if i'm not mistaken.
