I wonder if schools can ask the UIL to move the snapshot date back a few weeks or even a month. There are a lot of schools affected by flooding not just in this area.

Yeah, just need to get through this week and next week and back to normal at least as far as the football schedule goes.

That is kind of a misleading title, just saying. "Central high school unfit for students due to water" would be more on point.

I don't know how much room is available, but I would think WB has more room than Ozen.

Nobody is anointing them as district champs or anything. Your right, they beat a bad team this week and who knows what Dayton is. As long as they continue to improve they will compete for a playoff spot. We won't learn much about them next week either but the first big test is coming up in 2 weeks.

Sort of. Coaches with the exception of ADs are teachers and then coaches and get a stipend on top of thier teaching salary. Head coaches and ADs get a stipend as well, especially if they coach more than one sport.

Barrows is a first year coach. Neumann was making much more but he was there for 24 years. This is just the base salary not including stipends.

Some sloppy plays, especially with the turnovers. Not surprising giving the circumstances. Overall, a good start for Barrow and the Dogs.

No. I (speaking for myself) am waiting to see how they are going to look under Barrow. Scrimmages aren't the best measuring sticks.

Consider the source. First scrimmage for a new coach. I am pretty sure the coaches will work out the kinks and clean up the mistakes.
