Green is not a very good college qb.  He just lobs balls out there, no zip on it at all.
Your wrong about that he's got one of the best arms in the business if anything he has to take some off his passes to make them catchable.  Not impressed with Martinez his career will be cut short because he's nothing but a wildcat QB and will eventually sustain to my injuries to compete.  And if he was playing with an almost broken ankle then he and that egomaniac coach are both idiots for risking permanent damage ! I can see Green becoming a great QB if given the chance !
I agree if is ankle was "just about broke" why would the coaches put the kid back in the game? That's just dumb..they should have kept cody in the game and let him finish. He is a good player and needs to build some confidence..what better way than to give him some playing time and come away with some wins.
 12. Ever since I entered high school I wished their was a soccer team for our school. Im currently a senior and we don't have one. Some of the students and I have tried..got ppl to sign their signature agreeing that soccer would be good at BH and they would consider playing. Still nothing. Had a cousin mention it to coach gage. Also nothing..with price also nothing. We tried and did not succeed. There is some talent on soccer at the hill played a few pickup games with some classmates every now and then for some fun.... That is one thing I wish BH had and one thing I would have loved to do. Just hopefully in the future they do get one because I know there are kids out there who love the game and want to be apart of it. Why not have a school who supports it?
 13. Pretty sweet video! Really like the beginning  ;D
 14. Going to pull for the indians on this one. They beat us last week and I know they can play better so I say tthey win by 14. Good luck to the Indians!
Anything is better than the stripes..These are pretty good looking  :)
 16.
Stripes all the way down the uniform instead of just on the shoulders. That is my prediction ;D ;D
That would look horrible!!  ;D Liked last years uniforms. And they do need something on the helmet. Bring back the revolution instead of the crappy ones being worn now.
 17.
I think BH fans also need to consider what happened to their talent base after 2006.  Dayton started playing Barbers Hill around 2001 or 2002.  The senior group of 2006 had A LOT OF TALENT, but after that BH just didn't have that much athletic talent for many years.  Dayton beat BH at the junior high level for a few years really badly (combined scores for the 4 games were like 120 to 14), however the 10th grade bunch and the 9th grade bunch were MUCH IMPROVED!  The Ponies still won a majority of the games, but the games were closer.  The 10th grade QB (IMO) was the best athlete that I saw from BH.  Gage does have talent to work with (even though they are 9th and 10th graders) that ran dry during Price's last few years.  BH will continue to improve over the next few years just due to the fact that the talent coming into the high school is much better.  Glad it worked out for BH this year, especially after the stampede in Dayton.  You have to give Gage a lot of credit for winning out in district after his first district game was an unqualified disaster.
very true. Talent has went down a bit and from what ii see in school the kids coming in arnt getting any bigger
GCM has no chance of beating them this year. Who do they have that hits ? Chance, Jacobs, Dalton... thats all. Dont even get me started on their pitching. This is a recovery year for the Patriots and hopefully Coach Rupp knows that.
Yep. GCM's got nothin'. The same nothin' that beat BH 2 out of 3 last year. Enjoy the scenery, from your spot, it never changes.
O its funny how little you know. Last year is in the past to BH. With a new coach, inspired players, and prep training already going on; this team is going to be hard to beat. They were an average team last year only based off talent. Now with coaches to teach them and talent they have a lot going for them.
Sure and the rest of the teams in 19-4A are sitting on their no-talent butts doing nothing. Keep hope alive!
Never said they aren't working hard. But none of their coaches are as prestigious as the BH coach. Holding a state championship, 5 District Champs 22-5A as a coach. All American SS at UT still holding records. Everyone talks about the potential talent that BH has and now that they have a real baseball coach it gets to come alive.
You're right. Why should anyone else even try now. By the way, I have two goldfish. "Among Rupp's coaching honors are two Region XIV south coach of the year awards, four ABCA regional coach of the year honors, and four Texas-New Mexico JCBCA coach of the year awards. Last summer, he also coached the Texas-New Mexico JCBCA all-stars and served as an assistant coach on the NJCAA all-star squad which toured Japan." He also has a 3-2 record against BH.
No doubt Rupp knows what he is doing and knows what he is talking about. Rupp have a State Championship ring? College World Series rings? nope. Denny has both. Also BH has way more talent then the Patriots. Had more talent last year but just got out coached.
don't think it really matters how many rings the coaches have on their fingers..there not going to be playing the game. The players will. BH has some good talent just as well as other schools.
BH has the most talent and the most coaching experience. Good for Rupp that he is RATED as a good coach, but it is all about production and how many District Champs does he have?
He has as many at GCM as Denny has at BH. 0
first season at the hill

 20. Parents are involved alot for a fact. But changing the coach for bh was jus a excuse for losing I think..in 06 when price was still the coach the team was great the players were awsome after that it was sort of winless.. I don't think its so much of the coach for losing or winning its what the players bring out to the feild..now for the coaches they have to connect with every player on the team bring out the best in them (ex. Stewart) care about the players, teach them to better in every aspect of the game, how to show and play with heart on the feild. Price was a good coach to the players but could have done a better job by connecting with the players. Hopefully gage can provide that at the hill. Good luck to the eagles and all the returning players for next year!
 21. Lots of turnovers for the eagles and only 2 points in 3rd q....pretty bad

BH fought hard like always and left it out on the field. Good luck to PNG should be a easy ride for a bit  ;D
Just curious. How long is that bit your speaking of? Wouldn't be 4th round, would it?  8)
Possibly  ::)
