Don't forget catching crawfish in the ditch after a good rain. Getting little sticks and have pretend boat races by the curb on the street as the water was rushing down into the gutters... Whoevers stick got there first won... Riding your bike all day in the neighborhood with NO HANDS.. LOL Oh how I miss those days... ;)
You guys are choking me up.  There is no way most kids today would have the patience to sit for hours next to a ditch with a piece of bacon tied to a piece of string and a stick and weighted down with pebbles trying to catch a big ol' crawdad. Back to football, there is one heat difference today than from back in my day and that's the artificial turf.  Those black pellets under field turf absorb alot of heat and make the field itself a source of heat during practice.
LOL so you have been there :) And I agree those pellets probably do hold alot of heat...
Also I remember is being hot...but not this hot. We are setting records.
 2. Last week I caught a pack of boys(including mine) selling water and Gatorade at the end of street for a 1.00. Mine was taking stuff out of my fridge. lol
 3. We are fortunate to live in a neighborhood with alot of kids, and with an alley to boot....always some good club houses in the alley. I just tell them to be home when the street lights come on.

Not giving it up though...saving it for my next generation of Indians. We were thinking of something the second weekend in August, but didnt want to book the same trip. Want to try going farther out now that I'm almost sure I won't spend the day turning green and heaving over the side of the boat.
Who'd yall fish with?  August is usually flat water.  Keep in min snapper closes net weekend, so that time of year we hve to catch other stuff and possibly "State snapper"...
Galveston Party Boats
 14. Well nevermind..I have just been informed I can't handle 60 to 90 miles out.lol
Regularly huh. Twice in last 3 weeks and only 3 times this whole school year. Wouldn't call that regular. ::) Glitches happen. We are on a bigger server. Everything will be fine. No need to worry.
LOL well maybe not regurlary... that was such a harsh description... how about as of late becoming regularly... :-D and it was a bit sluggish this morning after getting up off the floor... and i am not being judgmental... I mean we are junkies who just got our fix... we can still be a bit grumpy until the full effect has taken place... :P
Thats a good track record...our server at work is down at least twice a week. I think the IT guy has it rigged so he can make some money..lol
 20. I think the lines of reality are starting to blur a bit ;)

 24.

I attended. I thought they looked somewhat the same, perhaps regressed on the defensive side of the ball.    QB: A+ Offensive line: C RB:  B-  Note:  They have some kids playing the wrong position at RB WR: C+    Note:  Run sub par routes, but are very quick and good overal athletic ability.  Need to learn to block down field better Defensive Line: C+  (will struggle against larger defensive lines, lucky for them they have a QB that has a quick release....Wideouts that can fly....and they play in 4a where huge OL's are about as common as 6'5 300lbs freshman) LB: A- DB: B- (The Corners have a lot of work to do.  I saw a lot of technique that was just absent) This team is athletic, but they are tremendously raw.  If the league improves over its poor showing last year, i would expect Summer Creek has a tougher time.  However, as it stands now they are the clear cut favorite. They look like they will pick up where they started last year.  The loss of the senior WR's will be interesting, because it is notably dropped off over last year.
OK LOL I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt here... and i am hoping you put the O Line comment on the D line.... because I have never seen 1 defensive line struggle against another Defensive line that was protecting a QB that had a quick release... LMAO!...
LMAO..oopsie..we accidentally sent our Dline out on offense.
