We played both Deweyville and Hull Daisetta this year and Deweyville was hands down the better team. I however know that our district is down this year and unfortunately nobody in our district will make it out of the first round. Tenaha,West Sabine,Cushing and Lovelady will beat anyone in our district easy.

Victorian had two interceptions and both were just great plays by a kid in position to make a play. HD had two or three fumbles that the Rebels recovered as well. 
 

And Broussard had 4 carries on the night and one was when he took off from punter position and came up a yard short. His last carry in the 3rd quarter was the 81 yard TD. HD ran full back dive and QB sneak all three possessions they had in the 4th quarter until victory formation for the last couple plays. If I’m being realistic it probably would have been 32 - 12 HD at a minimum. If Broussard isn’t serving a first half suspension due to last week’s ejection and they don’t kill the clock for 12 min, realistically it’s more like 42-8. That’s taking the long fluke score away and giving HD one more score like he did in the 3rd being out there. Evadale was shutout in the second half and didn’t really come close to scoring despite some great field position. HD didn’t really play very good (played much better against DV) and it really still wasn’t that close. 
 

Maybe your nephew is a big Rebel fan because it doesn’t seem like a very unbiased review he passed on to you. 

You are in a dream world my friend. Did you forget the fumble inside the 5 late in the 3rd or early in the 4th.  Just look at the stats I think y’all had less than 10 yards more offense and nowhere near the fumbles Evadale had. Not to mention first time that kid at qb had ever taken a snap. I saw no big standouts on that team whatsoever. That one kid that returned the 2nd half was ok but you take away that long run and he really had nothing. Not impressed at all 12 fumbles with 4 lost and 2 jacked up interceptions. It should have been a blowout if you had some big play makers. Evadale o-line blew y’all’s d-line off the ball all night we just couldn’t get a snap they were drive killers. There were people I knew that just came to watch that didn’t have a dog in the fight and said Evadale should have won that game 17. I think you been drinking too much corona with lime!

Evadale will definitely win if they keep the fumbles down. 12 last week and 6 for turnovers with one inside Daisettas 5.  Take that out of the equation and Evadale wins by 10.  

Definitely a good game. Quarterbacks first game he has ever played at qb and you could definitely tell. I am just flabbergasted by how many center qb exchange fumbles  and interceptions. Had to have had at least 10 snap fumbles unbelievable. The kids on both sides played hard and was a great game. Good luck rest of the season HD! We are going to take down the pirates and shake the district up!! I think you all might have a little different opinion of those Rebels after tonight’s game. But what’s football without a little smack talk. Good luck guys!

Wow for a team not playing for two weeks Evadale making HD look bad! Especially since there are only Deweyville and HD in this district. Lmbo!

Why do we care that you are bad mouthing the district? What point are you trying to make ? I’m not understanding it’s kinda weird!

Evadale by 6, HD has not been impressive at all. The two teams they have played and won are bad. One was a Christian school and was the very  first game. The loses they have are from teams that only win so far this season have came by beating HD. I think someone is a little overly hyped about HD this year. I guess because they have been dominated by Evadale in the past and it hurts!

The reason for the denial of transfer for the most part was because of absence. Some of the students denied were marked unexcused absent when they were actually at basketball, baseball and track events so it incorrectly showed these students with 15-20 absences. It was corrected and they were allowed back in.

Evadale wins by 3. They were down by 27 at one point and 22 at the half. 

You have to remember Farr was on a football visit last time they played. So they were a starter short. 

This was the absolute worst officiating I have ever seen at a basketball game!! The officiating chapter threw garbage refs to a very important district matchup. All three could hardly run up and down the court and couldn’t keep up with the game.  The chapter needs to watch this game and put them down to jr high ball at best. Wow!!

Silsbee beat Nederland fresh out of football and the game against PA they were still in football. 

That’s a good record West Hardin, have they played anybody? Records don’t mean anything unless you have played up to competition. 

The only thing to this game is the depth. Evadale has two 603 250lb and 270lb lineman one 605 250lb lineman and a 602 300 lineman. They have one of the areas best running backs and a college bound pitcher at quarterback. It's just all these kids never come off the field. Warren is a 3A school and the coaches played the JV a lot of the game so don't let that score fool you! Last year Evadale JV beat Lumberton JV.  But the main thing is both teams get to play football. So don't get the big head because Lumberton is 10x bigger than Evadale trust me they will know Evadale was there!

Too many playing football don't have enough kids for basketball.
