This one is hard to pick.  Nederland is 3-0 in district but Central have beaten Nederland this year.

I saw the stats.  Forney had 16 and there was another Nederland player with 12, I believe.

Kristen Smith finished with 27 points.

By the way, on a fast break when you have numbers, you have to finish with an easy basket.  Make the defender commit then dish to the wing.  That's easy pickings every time.  Team Ball!!

Have anyone taken into account that Yates team is not very tall?  Their tallest  starting player is like 6'3" or 6'4".

No.  They won't win district.  There is still Nederland and Ozen.  Also, I believe Central will beat LC-M in the Bear Cave.

:D  Lil' Wayne?  :D  That did make me laugh, but that was not the reason we lost this game. 

If we'd just played man and stayed in front of them all night, we could've won this.  LC-M got back in the game by constantly breaking the press over and over again.  At some point, we have to realize when something is not working and making adjustments.    LC-M kept a player in the middle and he kicked it out to the player that was trapping.  This resulted in Numerous layups.  Central Players were missing tip ins, putbacks, and point blank layups.  Also carelessness with the ball on several occasions.  Close to the end, Smith stole the ball and went down and dunked which seem to get the fans and other players fired up.  Then on the next dead ball, you take him out with a Minute left in the game.  I don't understand.  We let a golden oportunity slip tonight.  We have tougher teams coming in, like PN-G, Ozen, and Nederland.  We really have to play better ball. 

54-50 LC-M wins. 

Bears first lead...  41-40 with  5:37 left!

It appeared that we would run away with this one, but the Bears had other ideas rallying in the third.  37-34 at the end of 3.  Central

Now that's a dang shame!  Who keep tickin these Yates kids off!  ;D ;D
