I was very impressed to say the least considering its a 2a school...  Still think Silsbee and Ozen Gym is pretty good too...

A couple of things I noticed in this game.  BH were setting illigal picks (moving screens) all night long and that #20 from them couod not dribble...  Nederland only exposed this a few times, but went away from this...   Also, I was telling every Bulldog fan around me that BH had no answer down low for Smith or Forney...  BH made adjustments to swarm the post, but Nederland had an alternative game plan to set up open 3's.  It was like a pick your poison thing...  Get ate up on the inside or Dare Nederland to make the outside shot...

I guess Ozen just didn't have any luck in Overtime games this year...

Refs are horrible both ways...

No flashbacks, Buc!  :D :D :D This isn't the same team that lost to them, AAW.  Feed the bigs, and Nederland will be alright...

From my observations, Nederland should have no problem on the inside.  BH just looks so small.  Forney and Smith should picknick on goodies in the paint!

I don't know why GP was holding back, but their defense was turned up to the max in that 4th period, and we could do nothing...  They started hitting their free throws and surged on offense in this period.  Turnovers (silly) kept happening and was our doom...  while GP looked like a totaly different team in this Period.  Good season, Jags.  I look to you to be much improved next year.  I want to thank the services of our seniors.

31-35 Beaumont Central at the end of the third period...

Galena Park - 20 Beaumont Central - 26 Halftime Gotta shake these silly turnovers off...  We could be up by 10+ right now...

If Central stays away from the unforced mental mistakes and play fearless ball, we can win here...

I agree with you, Goat.  I think Forney was the best big man in the district this year and will be next year.  Smith is athletic, but I'm sold on Forney's post game.  (Joey would think otherwise...  ;D ;D )

I will be there tonight for the Central game.  If Central can hold on and win, I may be in a good mood to say for the Nederland game!  :D :D
