The Central fans I see (barber shops, grocery stores ect.) Never had high expectations like that.  ...And if there were some that was hollering about state, then they must have lost their mind.  I think they should have just sit back and watch how the season pans out.

Just like I've plenty of times before, I don't know hat 'fans' you are in reference to being 'pumped up', but I can assure you that it's not me for reasons I have states previously.  If we have a 'statebound' team, then show me, because at the begin of the season, I wasn't sold and I'm definitely not sold now.  I say (and I mean speaking from THIS Central fan) get better every game and let's see where it takes us.  (I still don't see the other Central fans you guys keep referring to.)

[/quote] We have to get whatever problems we have together.  We have West Brook on Tuesday and H-J on Friday.  THOSE guys aren't JV teams.  The talent is there, but there is  some defensive issues that needs to be addressed I assume.

Sounded like a good game to me. Nonetheless, we still shouldn't allow the score to balloon out of control like that.  I know there are 2 freshman that played in this game, so you'll lean toward inexperience.  I think not.  If their not playing good, bench them.  If their calling a game one sided, make an adjustment.  But, to be down the entire game and eventually loose to a 'JV' team is a true head scratcher...

The game last year that Nederland wanted to play that we declined was for playoff seeding only.  No outright district championship was on the line.  It went in the books as Co-district champs with Nederland taking the top seed.

Maybe in years past, but not this year.  Even West Brook appears to be good.  Matter of fact, now that I think about it, didn't West Brook beat you last year?  Don't sound like'running out of the gym'to me.
