It's not really that big of a deal. I've said this before. Central went to a black color scheme like 10 years ago. No problems. Also, went to an all Maroon and white scheme. I remember saying they have us our there looking like Silsbee Tigers. But us Jags noticed it, but still, no big deal. Our boys looked good regardless. I actually like the gray pants deal for PN-G. It's a good change Of scenery...

I don't know if he will do the job... I've had dealings with him and different situations. He's too much of a pushover. I've seen first-hand parents and teachers push him around like it was nothing. He's a good guy, but imo, not a good idea for him...

Imo, with the BOM in place, I think football coach quality is not a big priority right now so I really expect the easy (and laziest) thing to do would be to hire from within instead of hiring from outside, conducting interviews, ect. Talked to Yeoj and he brought that up prior to the WB hire and that's exactly what happened. But it'll be a blessing in disguise because it'll mean we have a better chance at getting Nelson....

North Forest beat Central by 5 this year... Silsbee beat Central by 3.... Think about that AND the fact that North Forest beat Yates as well. That's why I think it'll be close...

You do realize that the demographics of BISD is mostly African American as far as race goes... Actually, almost half of the district's students are Black, almost 10% more than the next race... Just a tidbit of info....
