  1. Yea, I saw him in action on defense. Kinda like Morris Thomas, our 1,000 yard back from last year. His junior year, he was LB. Quick and strong.
  2. Wasn't Gable a LB last year? If I'm not mistaken.
  3. If 'Frog' is gonna play RB, he will lead, no doubt!
  4. If we're sitting here worried about who likes you on the board or not, that means August isn't getting here fast enought! This is going to be a long Summer. I know my karma will go down once I start opening my mouth when the season kicks off! ;D
  5. The top rushing offense in 22-4a last year ran the spread, a passing offense. I still believe it will be LC-M, then Nederland. It might be the other way around.
  6. They would split 2-2. J. Brown is a handful for anyone. But at the same time, the team concept would come into effect. I can't see it any other way, guys.
  7. Yea, that's why I said H-J would have won this year due to better coaching, which is why they lost to EC and Ktz. I'm talking about next year. Donahoe was head and shoulders above the rest, even as a sophmore and Junior.
  8. Last year was Ozen's first 'real' failiar in football IMO. Not making the playoffs is on thing. Not being competitive is another. I know you know football as well as B-ball, DV. You know there was athletes on that Ozen squad. The problem was weeded out. Now look for them to be competitive.
  9. I'm not buying into that. Kids at Ozen love to play football. All three school have that passion for football. They just had a down year with a mediocre coach that got exploited. They will be in the thick of things, just wait and see.
  10. yea, last year, maybe H-J due to better coaching. But you never know because he had athletes. This year, Central, no doubt. No Donahoe, no beating the Jags.
  11. Do I even need to answer this one? ;D ;D ;D : : : Whoever made this thread had this team in mind.
  12. Not arguing. It would be an enjoyable game. Not taking anything away from H-J, but keep in mind that this was one of the least-talented Ozen teams that came through the Pear orchard.
  13. ??? ??? ???Come on dude. You don't have to like Ozen or Boutte. But I give respect where it was due. You read my post about last year's panther team.
  14. :o Man, I cant wait get sit my dairy air in those seats. This will be the perfect setting for my Jags to seek revenge! If only we could get 'Babe' fixed up like that... : : :
  15. Yea, not a rout untill either the second or third. Ozen's let's you hang around in the first period. Then when Boutte starts pasting the sidelines, it's normaly over. Trust me, I know. :o
  16. I feel what our little bros. were going through over there last year, seeing that we have been through the 1-9 season ourself a few years ago. They will be fine.
  17. Yea, those young guns from last year will be more verocious beasts. They will win it all, no doubt. That experience will pay off.
  18. Not athletic, because H-J has athletes. Ozen has overall superior Coaching. Plus the athletes to boot. Like I said earlier this year, this state runner up Panther team was the least talented IMO that I've ever saw and you see how good they did.
  19. I dont' know if it's already been said, but Ozen will never be short of athletes. That 1-9 season was 'bad coaching'. the reason they made the playoffs, the year they lost to Marshall, was because there was leftover talent from the Brooks era. Hopefully, Rison will turn things around. Look for Ozen to raise eyebrows, fellas. I don't think it can get any worst from last year.
