Well, in my opinion both WB and Humble didnt play their best football. Brook did, however, make some key halftime adjustments that limited Humble's offense and pretty much held the game in check from there. Congrats to both teams as they are both gonna see more teams like this in the playoffs. For the Brook, I think this was the best game and result you could have asked for. They won a very hard fought, defensive battle that gained alot of playoff type experience. The kids will blow through Channelview with ease. We should be in good shape for the playoffs! Good luck in the playoffs Humble!

I think the coaching staff will finally get PAM back into the win column. It wont be by much, but a win, nonetheless. Titan-ics by 15!

It's somewhere different every time.......I've seen our first games at Rice, Pasadena Memorial(alot), Astrodome, Stallworth, Deer Park, and I think even once at Cardinal Stadium(long time ago). Alot of factors determine where we would play our potential first post season game. We wont know until after Week 10 and an opponent is determined. The two coaches will then meet with their district's transportaion directors. Then they will decide on a neutral site that both teams can agree on.

I personally think you are in......BUT, if you lost another game the determining factor wouldbe the other teams records that were vying for that playoff spot. If you are tied with another team, then it would be determined on a head to head basis. It then goes to points scored! Good Luck Raiders!

you know guys, HUM398 has alot of very valid points. But I've said it before and I'll say it again. It takes a good team to make the playoffs, and an even luckier one to make a deep playoff run. At this point in the season, I'd rather be lucky than good. Cause the best team doesn't always win, usually the luckiest one does. With that being said, I like our chances in the postseason. If we get to play Katy again, we may not win, but the Tigers will know we were there. WB will continue to put competitive teams together in upcoming seasons. This may or may not be our year, but they cant keep us down forever. It would be neat, however, to win our second state championship on the 25th anniversary of our first!

That's true, but I dont know if we can afford to give up the big plays and still recover against some of the teams we're gonna see in the playoffs. Look at the records for teams we've played thus far....the only team with a winning record that we've played this far is Spring Westfield, and we lost. This game on Friday night will really give us a good indication as to where we actually are, and how far we might go in the playoffs. Don't get me wrong, I don't think anybody has really challenged this WB team yet as we've been able to beat most teams with relative ease. I think Friday night's game will tell us alot.

well, PN-G used to be 5A and were in our district at one time. I think they were having down years back then. If the two teams were to play now.......they might be 1-8 against us.

You know, Ive thought the same thing. It's like on Friday's I watch the team and think, "man, we are gonna lose the first round." Then, we do something right and we win with a score that's not even close! Then after I've had time to reflect on the game, I think, maybe we are OK! I still haven't decided if we're that good, or if our competition is that bad. I think we're getting better every week. It's like another poster said, the only team that's gonna stop WB, is WB. I think we can win as many games as our guys want to. A good team will find a way to win on a bad night. A bad team will find a way to lose on a good night. I think we will go as long as this team wants to!

WB almost beat Cy-Falls last year, and Cy-Falls beat Katy........anything can happen. I guarantee you, they wont look beyond WB this year......either one of them!(if they're smart)
