  1. certainly Stump and the rest of the coaching staff can see this. Why does it seem that these issues are not being fixed? If we can see it, than scouting coaches from other schools can see it and therefore try to exploit it as a weakness. Our pass defense definitely needs some work. The Rangers had 1 yard rushing. 1. But had over 150 yards through the air. That was the only time they moved the ball. We have got to work on these types of things.
  2. let's just hope it doesn't happen next week at the expense of the Bruins!
  3. I agree 100%....he carries the ball like a loaf of bread. He made some good runs last night, but he also coughed one up. If anybody knows Coach Louis, please relay him the message that he needs to explain to Christian how to tuck the ball and carry it properly. When we get to the playoffs, we wont be able to afford the kind of mistakes that were made last night!
  4. there's going to be several of from the forum sitting together Friday night(on the WB side, of course). Would love for you to join us, patitan. Would be nice to put some faces with the names!
  5. hiccup....I hope so. The playoffs still aren't a lock, though. If you remember from last year, we got pretty beat up in the PAM game and lost to two teams that we should heve beat. I hope we get some of our key people back for next weeks game, but I also hope we dont lose them right back to injury. What's the status on Albert? I saw him on the sidelines last night and he was still limping pretty good. I was told that his mom might not let him return this year.
  6. good recap, Weed! I spoke to one of the teachers and she said we lost a couple to grades. Did anyone notice key people missing?
  7. huh huh, huh huh....you said, moms!
  8. that was cool, man. very 'stand up' thing to say.
  9. cool, somebody else, however, keeps saying she's gonna show up at the games but never does. Shame on you, goddess1!
  10. you going to PA next week? if so, maybe you can sit with WBbear and myself!
  11. well said, PNG Proud, it needed to be said and you said it.......imagine this, we have agreed on two things in the last two days. Will wonders never cease!
  12. Where were you sitting at the game? Did you get my PM?
  13. It takes a little while to get from Pt. Neches to L-town........but not two hours! ;D
  14. Good job of calling the score before the game....sounds like it was a real barn burner.....er, train burner!
  15. ROFLMAO......so true!
  16. Stump made some very good adjustments at the half and was able to pull away from a weak Sterling team. The score shouldn't have been that close.
  17. nope, it doesn't look like PAM will make the postseason. I did hear that a local nursing home was missing it's events coordinator, and they said he was last seen at Memorial Stadium in PA on the sidelines!
  18. HA HA HA ;D.....what's that? I dont hear anything....sure is quiet on here tonight with no smack talking from the L-Train supporters. Finally, somebody shut em up!!! Go NDN's! and THANK YOU for for the peace and quiet we will get this coming week!
  19. Well, if WB can get through PAM next week..........nah, one game at a time!
  20. I wonder how Humble did tonight?
  21. WB had at least 5 turnovers.....they scored 14 points off of TO's. One fumble recovery was returned for a TD for them! WB's pass defense was a little weak due to a few injuries. Their 21 points were scored in the first half, 0 points in the second!
  22. 41-21 WB with 5:00 left in the game when I left!
