Oh, I do too! I talked to Coach Louis a few nights ago. He said we'll probably be a little slow coming out of the gate after five weeks off. He hasn't forgotten about the C-view game from a few years ago. He assures me that once we get our timing back on offense, we'll be OK. A loss to the Falcons is not in the cards. As far as the other teams in district, there's not really another team (besides North Shore) that matches up to us athletically and talent wise. We should be pretty fresh come playoff time!

We'll be a little rusty, no doubt. Channelview should be a good tune up game for us. In fact, they'll all be tune up games until NS!

I wish I could watch the game. I've got Bridge City evacuees now living in my house, and they're in there occupying my TV by playing Guitar Hero on my PS2. Maybe they'll go to bed soon.

OK! Here is a list of schools from Region 3 and Region 2 that have OPEN dates for Week 5. Katy Cinco Ranch Katy Mayde Creek Katy Morton Ranch Humble Kingwood College Park Conroe Oak Ridge-currently slated to play Katy Lufkin-currently slated to play North Shore The Woodlands-rescheduled PAM for that week Desoto Mesquite Tyler John Tyler Tyler Lee Out of all those teams, I cant believe that we cant find one of those schools willing to play us.

What I dont understand is this: Out of every 5A team in Region 3, there are 4 teams that have an OPEN date for Week 5.......Katy Cinco Ranch, Katy Mayde Creek, Katy Morton Ranch, and Humble Kingwood all have off nights that week. And out of those teams, we cant get a game scheduled with ANY of them? This is not sad, this is pitiful!!! None of those teams are state ranked, so none of them have anything to lose. Why wont any of them play us???? > Whats worse than that, all three of the Katy teams only have 9 regular season games scheduled. If one of them played us, it would give them a chance to play 10 games. I dont understand the thinking behind this. I doesn't make sense to me.

I haven't seen Vidor play, but I hear they've got a decent team this year. I have to give the edge to the Jags based purely on athletic talent. The Pirates will play a good game, as they always do, but the Jags will win in the end. 21-13 Central.
