Isn't Kountze getting smaller anyway. Might as well combine with Silsbee and have a small 4A program.

Yes I'm feeling well! I have to pick my spots. I feel Silsbee and HJ IF they both go undefeated the rest of the way in district to just do a coin flip. I'd rather see Silsbee vs Nederland and HJ vs Ozen in a playoff warm up. Neither Silsbee or HJ will see a better team than the two they could play in a preview.

Someone told me a few years back Yates was having issues with staying open due to test scores. In the 80's they were 5A, 00's 4A, and now 3A. Look out 2A!

When Silsbee and HJ both were in 19-4A Silsbee average margin of victory was 25.5 ppg. Those HJ teams weren't that bad. Silsbee had 2 and some times 3 D1 players on those ball clubs. Holden, Airline, and Miller.

I will say this, I have lived in Houston for the past 13 years. I have seen the Willow Ridges, Yates, Jones, Jesuits, Belliare's and FB schools and no one draws a crowd like Silsbee vs HJ. SETX knows how to bring the entire town and surrounding towns out for these match ups. I hope each school continues to keep the pipeline of talent coming thru. I think 21-3A's top 4 teams are just as good as any in SETX!

If DC would like to he is more than welcome suit up for a few playoff games for Silsbee lol! I'm sure HJ won't mind.

What has been the largest margin of victory EVER between Hardin Jefferson and Silsbee? 4A and 3A.

I'd like to see Jordan take the ball to the hole more. He has the speed and quick jumping ability to do so. If Silsbee can't hit more of those 3 pointers, I say take the ball to the hole and draw fouls or pull up for short jumpers.

There is no team in SETx that could play within 20 points of Yates. They are just as fast as Silsbee, with HJ's size then some, and killer defense. The are all run and gun! They usually take about 75 plus shoots per game.

I have been to all of the following Tiger Huntsville games and a few others sprinkled in. 1. Silsbee vs Diboll 2. Silsbee vs Liberty Hill/ Silsbee vs HJ 3. Silsbee vs Crockett/ vs HJ 4. Silsbee vs Jasper 5. Silsbee vs Lufkin Hudson/vs HJ

Holmes? I think he is a very very  good players. Plays team ball well. Silsbee  has  2 possible Allstate players in Holmes and Elam. Would like to see him shoot a little better from 3 point land. Soild on defense. Has to learn how to avoid foul trouble on some of those reach ins. He is only a junior but the sky is the limit. Yes, I'm a Silsbee Alumni!

I think Silsbee has a very good chance in the playoffs if they can stay out of foul trouble and rebound like they did last night.

Great game by both teams! HJ did a better job shooting free throws tonight. Silsbee has to stop taking so many 3's if they can't do better than 3/18. Someone streamed the Kountze vs New Waverly game a few years back and some local Houston games are always streamed. Aggiearewe and Lazeek have the hook ups! Make it happen fellas.

Is this game being streamed live anywhere?

I would imagine each school could profit 2k-3k more moving it to a neutral site just off ticket sales. I heard in Silsbee alone close to 200 fans were locked out. Move the game to Beaumont as a main attraction, you would pull another 200 plus people just in that area alone. I more than sure each school could put that extra money to good use.

Is Kountze gym larger than HJ's. Small school but gym may seat more.

I think Elam and Bush were Allstate performers for Silsbee back in 93 and 95.
