1. Isnt Elam a Senior?
2. Anyone going to any events? My recommendation if u have kids is Jam Session and maybe the BBV Rookie Game. Buy tickets at www.toyotacentertix.com. Not expensive and a great chance to see you favorite NBA player.
3. HJ can have allbthe size and muscle they want. in order to play football with these spread offenses, you must have SPEED. Hardin Jefferson has no speed at QB, RB, WR or on defense. Those big boys are huffing and puffing after 1 quarter.
4. My answer is HJ won't be beating Silsbee or WOS in football in the next 5 years not happening buddy! HJ is in a area where football isn't king. Basketball is!
5. I think Kountze could beat HJ by double digits. When HJ decides to get some of those basketball players on the field, they will win. Cant tell me Bosha or  Prudhomme or.Bosha wouldn't be good WR's? Man that would have been some WR threat. What about Johnson at RB or WR. All these kids have speed!
6. Im sure the HJ kids train hard go prepare for football. Problem is you cant hang with schools like Silsbee and WOS. HJ has talent but not enough to be a threat. Silsbee and WOS have a pipeline of talent. Most people in HJ only care about basketball. I hate to tell thr kid who is from HJ posting on here, but Silsbee could put 60 up on you next year. Lot of talent coming back on both sides of the ball.  HF, Bridge City, and Orangefield will roll HJ and compete for the last 2 spots.
7. Yates is good not great people. Most of u have not seen them pkay this year. Silsbee has a great chance. Rebounding and free throws are the key
8. To finish 3rd, Silsbee must lose to WOS. Not happening. HJ will beat WOS in a playoff for seeding. Stumble into Huntsville. Lose by 15 to a Tiger team who beats Yates! Good enough for you?
9. Maybe they move it back to home & home after next season.
10. Also, me and a fellow buddy of mine were office aids our senior year. I remeber the numbers like it was yesterday. I remeber a certain Silsbee principal speaking of adding a few more teachers to drop some numbers from some of the regular classrooms.
11. The class of 1998 was the LARGEST graduating class in SHS history up to that point. 301! The class peaked at 341 my freshman year in 1994. You had drop outs, kids moving, and kids held back that made that number drop. Look it up if u need facts my fellow SHS Alumni.
12.
BS with his typical BS ::)
Come on son! GTFOHWTBS
13.
Just looked it up. Silsbee's enrollment in BS years ('96-'98) were around 1080.
Nope worked in the office with enrolment and Mr. Conway. Silsbee had 1260 students in 1998. 301 were in my class alone.
14. I expect Silsbee and HJ to face off in Huntsville again. I think there is something special about this Silsbee team.
15. IMO if you move the games back home and make the ticket situations fair to parents, it could work. Like I said give each player on each team 4 game tickets. Give the visiting school 40% and home team 60%. Make all ticket purchase s come from the admin offices. These 2 schools will never fill Ford Arena.
16. Thats good to hear! Hopefully that growth can help us stay strong for years to come. Didn't Silsbee have a few kids about 5 years back move to Ozen?
17. I bet they dk but cant gst enough talent on the field.
18. When I was at Silsbee high, we had a total 1300 students while in 4A. Now being down to 822, we need some growth.
