I'm a die hard Tiger fan, but Silsbee will never be ranked #1 in the nation. I have seen what #1 looks like in Findley Prep and Bishop Gorman when I lived in Vegas last year. Those two teams could beat us by 60!!! Nothing but D1 talent. I just want Silsbee to win a few state titles.

Silsbee isn't guaranteed any! Silsbee has no track record of winning titles. We seem to always fall short. Maybe this is different maybe not. Up to the coaches and the team. One bad night in the playoffs and it's a wrap! Hopefully they can get one this year.

I think Silsbee really cranks it up at HJ! I think Silsbee will win that game as well. HJ only goes 7 deep and when fouls start pilling up it hurts. Silsbee goes 11 deep. Slot of times they can avoid foul trouble with all the subbing.

The post from HJ is very solid. I think Mackey did a fantastic job. His hustle in the 4th qtr for the two and 1s was critical to keeping the lead above 10. I think Mackey and Barnes were solid. Also, the best WR duo in the state!!!

Stevenash, here are the facts (numbers don't lie as long the person calculating them is smart). Hardin Jefferson would have lost by close to 15-20 if Silsbee didn't slow the game down. At the pace they played in the 2nd qtr, HJ was very gasp. Silsbee 5 in 5 out rotation is very critical in gamed where the other team only goes 7 deep. Silsbee took 8 less shots in the 2nd half

Silsbee gave HJ hope going into next game. The same thing they came into last night with. Hope! Silsbee has 6 who could all average 20ppg for any other school. They fact they they don't care who leads in scoring and just want to win is incredible. I hope Parquett gets well and I look forward to watching these teams play next month. Hopefully McCain can get back by the playoffs.

Oldschool, when you get 18 years up 23 on their rival, it's hard to keep that up. Silsbee let off the gas in the 2nd half A LOT! I don't see the next game panning out any different.
