All you fellas better hurry up and finish that opening weekend deer hunting and get back home to just laying around and watching football again...!!! Stetson's and Big Texas were filled with painted ladies last night. There was a different kind of "hunting" going on.

This was an outstanding High School FB game...!!!! Wow, a lot of back and forth, and kids flying around. This was a really exciting game to watch. I hate those stinkin' targeting ejections in High School. 15yd penalty... Ok, maybe..? Ejected... nonsense. Even still, it was a very good game.

I really feel bad for the Broncos. I used to love watching Bronco Football and those kids playing hard and those Coaches getting after it on Friday nights. I feel bad for Nations and the staff as well, some really great guys. BUT... all those IDIOT MORONS over there wanted Jerry Stewart out, and this is the result. Time to live with what y'all asked for. In my unwanted and very unintelligent opinion... The administration destroyed this program, not the coaches, not the kids. Pure and simple.

I wouldn't worry too much about Dayton's players, they are only doing what their coach tells them to do. [b]After the C.E. King game at BH, Price and none of his other coaches were allowed to shake any of the BH coaches or players hands. What does that tell ya? Not exactly good sportsmanship on their part.[/b] I do wish the C.E. King player a speedy recovery. BH15... this is the dumbest post that I have EVER read by a poster from BH. You give anyone from BH a bad name. There is absolutely no truth to this horse sh*$ what-so-ever...!!!! Were you even at the BH vs. King game? If you were, you would have seen a current King coach ( former BH coach ) talking to and congratulating the BH players on a game well played. It's complete dumb a**es like you that ruin this forum. Tell the truth and stop blabbering your idiocy...!!! Your making false claims on a man's character and integrity.... I'd be careful if I were you. I know some of those King coaches - that's a good way to get you a trip to a medical facility.

19-4A could be REAL interesting this year. I'm so glad Football season is here! Best part of the year.

Longview is GROSSLY overrated. I agree, Lufkin will probably blast them next week.

Yeah, I saw the Dayton / Nederland scrimmage. Yeah, Nederland's DL is pretty dang good. I like they way they play. They're physical. They also did a pretty good job defending Crosby's speed. After the Dayton scrimmage, I wouldn't have guessed that. Dawgs played well in this one. I think they'll win 20-4A.

I just got off the phone with a guy that went to the Coldsprings / King game and what he said shocked me. He said that, in his opinion, King should have won this game. He said they had 2 TD's called back on penalties. He thought both were holding calls. He said that King's Defense was freaking flying around! Coldsprings popped a couple of long runs, but they had zero yards passing and King had several massive gang tackles. He thought that for Coldsprings having what is usually a very dominant power running game, King defended them well. I like some of the things I'm hearing out of King. If those guys buy in and work their tails off, King could make some noise in 19-4A.

I heard that Josh Sadler is back to coaching football again with Don Price and those new guys at C.E. King...? From what I've heard they are putting together a pretty good staff.

Looks like Price is starting to put some pieces together. I like it.    8)

Liberty may need more than 1 summer in the weight room to compete heavily as a district contender? Right now Coldsprings and Huffman just have too much fire power. Huffman's program has really taken off, and Coldsprings has enough talent to compete with alot of 4A schools.

Wonder how the Hornets' summer strength and conditioning program is doing? Does anyone have any insight? I know some of those kids, I hope they can improve.

Ok, this is in English... BH will NOT win the new 19-4A District. And will be VERY lucky to even make the playoffs.  ;)

I will be HIGHLY surprised if Dayton doesn't win this new district. Summer Creek is supposed to be good, but not to the point where I would take them over Dayton.

Price will build the program and bring discipline. He may not win big right away... but he [b]WILL[/b] build the program up and take out some of the garbage. Once he gets the program turned back around, they will start winning again.

Well, nobody will be wrong about this... Liberty will get bashed by Coldsprings and Huffman. AGAIN.

Dayton will beat Summer Creek AND Barbers Hill. Book it...!!!!
