I have been seeing a lot of posts from outsiders about EC "recruiting". So is there any proof of this? I know they have move ins. I happen to know that a vast majority of the athletes at EC are home grown. Sounds like people just making excuses as to why EC has been such a good program for the past 20+ years. Haters gonna hate. EC must be the only team that "recruits". And as far as the game against OF, I believe OF wins this game and by a good margin, EC will once again make the playoffs and will get bounced in the first round. I guess their "recruiting class" this year wasn't that good. Lol

I am assuming these point totals are based on playing 16 games. These totals are just crazy. Aledo with 1023 points averaging over 62 points per game.

How is Anahuacs running back doing. Is he playing tonight? Been hearing a lot of good things about him.

I have only seen video of him, he does seem taller from the video I have seen. Wouldn't surprise me if he was closer to 180.

Liberty gave Woodville a scare last week, is EC playing better football? Not sure what kind of team liberty has.

I think the last time EC was held scoreless at the half (at home) was my senior year in '94

I know we lost a lot on the offensive side of the ball, is the line undersized or just inexperienced

In the 2016-2017 season was the last time EC lost more than 1 district game, it was a down year for them as they went 4-6 in district play

East Chambers has a very nice indoor facility with turf, as well as turf football field, Anahuac just recently updated all their fields with turf looks very nice. Just a couple of examples of some small schools in setx.

With EC rebuilding and not knowing if Lumberton is improved from last year. I will give Lumberton a slight edge.

As a junior and senior in '94 and '95 we had our last names on the back of our jerseys at EC. We were 2A at the time.
