EC needs to go in this game ready to play. From what I've seen the Lady Bucs may have gotten the big head running through the district like they did. Can't go into a playoff game with that kind of mentality or it'll bite you in the butt. But hopefully, the lady bucs will bring their "a" game and take out hemphill. Good luck lady bucs. Take it to state!

I agree with the EC kountze 04-05 game at EC and also the one at the montagne center. Those were two of the greatest games I've seen.

EC has a good group of players coming back..  Newton is always good.. Anahuac will be good.. Hardin and Buna are always decent and competitive.. Woodville, playoff team from last year.. Kountze.. eh.. they are better at basketball but could pull some upsets.. and Warren.. well maybe they will start getting better after a couple of down years.. EC's jv last year went undefeated so they got some good people coming up. Should be fun!

come now... ec is a young team.. with a young coach, trying to figure out their own type of game. And wins against those programs are better than losses am i right?

ec has two teams.. when the bucs show up they are a pretty balanced team and are very well coached.. when the bucs don't show up.. it gets kind of scary.. i watched one game this year where the first half EC looked like a pretty talented team, and the second half.. well lets just say it didn't go so well.. EC is starting to get back on their feet in district, coach andrews has them playing good team ball. they should win at home by 10.. Go bucs!

EC would win with bad refs lol.. the girls at ec have always played physical basketball and most girls teams don't play good against that kind of style.. I haven't seen EC play yet this year, but from what I hear EC shouldn't have a problem.. But they need to play every game from now on like its a playoff game to prepare them for the playoffs.

I have no clue on what to say about the Ec guy coming in late... but it wasn't 10-15 seconds into the play.. orangefield had just thrown the ball in and threw it down low before the ec player came running off the bench.. in my opinion the refs didn't look like they knew what they were doing half the time. every time one of them blew the whistle they had a conference in the middle of the court lol.. oh well.. nothing we can do about it.

Congrats EC on the win... ROUGH game.. This was the first time I have seen the gym... it is very very nice...

EC keeps improving every week.. After a sloppy game against Woodville, they will need to play a PERFECT game to pull of the upset. Coach Valastro will have a great gameplan, so who knows... Hopefully there will be a lot of people in Lufkin Saturday supporting the Bucs! GO bucs!

EC will be practicing FOOTBALL very hard.. while Woodville is doing what???? not football.. just saying

aiden.. come on.. you lost. If Woodville played better than EC then... well they would have won lol. And don't count any team out on any given Friday. Next Friday EC could have a great game plan and DField could be, hopefully will be, playing there worst football. :) but anyway, congrats Woodville on a great season. Congrats to the Bucs on getting out of the 2nd round!!!

Aiden... you may have a strong district... with newton and kirbyville.. how did those games go?? And I know EC got demolished by the same team. It should be a good game. EC has great coaches who seem to really be connecting with this group of players. I pick EC by 3 td's.. Wish I could be there. GO bucs
