I will say this, the Panthers havn't beat anybody of any substance this year. BUT, like its been since BH left, and Huffman left the first time, you dont have to be great to win district 22.
That being said, say Liberty beats Coldspring and Cleveland...whats that make them? Good? Who cares right? Because if they do win that 2nd or 3rd playoff spot they destined to lose because they'll end up playing WO-S or Silsbee...yipppe..
I just want to remind everyone what losing 63-0 felt like a few years back to WO-S...not good. not good at all...believe me...

It'll be close, but I hope the Panther's can play some defense. I've been waiting for this game for awhile. Hardin football has a chip on their shoulder and have a tendency to run their mouth a little bit. After we scrimmaged them a few years ago Haynes told the Liberty team basicly that they werent as good as his team and that he hoped they could win a couple games...I hope Liberty takes it to 'em...

I dont know who you are, but you really have a bad attitude. If your whole team has this same attitude yall deserve to get "killed". Not once did I, or any of my teammates go into a game accepting the fact that, before the game even had begun, that we were going to get beat. If you have your mind set negatively before the game even begins..well, you shouldnt even play the game. You have a loser attitude and should probably become a hall walker. -
I think the offense fits the talent level..I dont agree with running the ball on first and second and passing on third...its a predictable (dallas cowboys) style of play that catches on quickly....I wish Donald Douglas would have been our coach..but I liked Deel, Fontenot, and of course Sadler...

The coach last year was Coach Jones. He did a great job but left at the end of last year. The new coach was brought in some time ago. Not recently.

This is a disgrace. NEW RULE: Nobody can post JV after Liberty ever again..unless theyre making fun of our varsity teams. Thats acceptable.

I'm not sure if there are this weekend but I do know that Pearland plays there often, along with alot of Houston schools during the regular season. They have alot of playoff games there down the road closer to the state championships.

Hey, why didnt they just sue the company that manufactured the gate that let him step on the field? I mean, he did know that getting hit was a possibility....Or maybe sue the hitters parents for producing such a powerful batter...

High School teams play at Reliant all season long. -
You also have to look at capacity. You cant play a game between two teams at Hamshire Fannett if both schools bring 5000 fans. Alot of schools look at the playoffs as a nice time to play in a nice stadium. Liberty played a playoff game a few years ago in Pasadena against WO-S. Didn't make much sense to me but they did have a nice place.

Coach Jackson needs to read this thread. Make do with whatcha got and learn how to win. Dont accept failure. Thats what Liberty is having a problem with to me. The Seniors never had a winning season. At anything. They just dont know how to win. Sounds foolish..but its true.

I'm not sure biggen. Its kinda hard info to find. One week their freshman are playing Anahauc and the JV is playing Huffman while the Varsity plays Cleveland or whoever. I dont know if anyone could find that out..

OldTimer, I do believe he could've played at a D2 school if he had really wanted to. I spent many snaps as a "tacklin' dummy" when he was a Senior. haha

Liberty has a JV and a freshman team. Deel wouldnt put any sophmores on a freshman team and call it a freshman team.
But, a couple of years ago my JV team had a couple of moveins from NO because of the hurricane. One of which could have easily played college ball. Best team I every played on. But, I did go to Liberty too...lol -

That just goes to show how sad your life actually is. You have to wait for a highschool football team loses(that I'm not even apart of) before you can find anything to use as a possible joke...It'd probably be a little bit different if it was funny...
Anyways..it looks like my predicition was right. Liberty had a good shot at the playoffs. Hardin sucked it up against most everyone. Dayton lost to Friendswood. Cleveland wins District.

And for the guy that said WO-S and Bridge City both lost to 22 teams last year.....thats all well and good. But go back about 8 years and count how many times a 3 seed from this district beats the numero uno...maybe twice...?
