Coach Faircloth got a chance to get new uniforms and wanted something besides the black color and the grey is what the players voted to wear. If that's what the boys wanted to wear then I am all for it.

You get exposure to college coaches at Camps. HS coaches in Texas are not allowed at those camps. Mom, Pop, MawMaw, PawPaw or Uncle RayRay, thats who is best at getting players exposure to college coaches.

Actually Coach Forman does go to the camps with his players. I saw him over the summer at the Texas A&M camp with some of his players that I was at with my son.

I was told that a cheerleader went out on a stretcher not a football player. No conformation yet.

Word is that Sparks has concussion symptoms. He took a big shot to the head hopefully nothing major.

Coach Bum was not there last year. He passed away during the game at his home.

Form what I know Hughes, Murdock, Anabole and Walker will all be playing on Friday.

Not sure about better, but good yes. Losing Hughes, Murdock, Anabole and Walker on defense is going to be tough. Hughes makes that defense go!

Just a FYI DT was selected to the USA National team and played against the Canadian team and guess who the head coach was, it was PNG's Coach Faircloth. So they know each other and him talking to coach on the sidelines was probably not negative in nature. I know this because I was there with my son on the other US team and spoke to DT he is a good kid with respect for coaches. The boys from both teams have been on twitter congratulating each other on such a great game and that shows just how great both teams really are. Athletes are competitive and they will get chippy during games, but in the end both teams respect each other and hope they have a great year. We as adults should used this example and move on getting ready for our next opponent.

I was told that PNG has more season ticket holders than WOS has visitor seats. You can always buy a home seat ticket and walk around to the visitor side unless you want to sit with skipper. Lol

My wife said that PNG is sold out of tickets for visitor's side.

I work at a plant in Orange by the stadium and we just got a little rain here already. I hope we don't get too much rain because the field at WOS turns to mud quickly.

FYI a defensive front line with only 1 returning starter with the help of the rest of the defense kept a team with a 1000+ yd running back and a 6'2" 250lb WR to only 130 total yds. That's a 71yd initial scoring drive and then only allowing 59yds of offense the rest of the game. I know our offense looked great but I am even more impressed with the defensive performance last week.

It's funny how you PNG fans keep talking about how you've improved, but I guess we haven't...lol Just FYI.. all but 1 of our front 5 from last year are back, but I guess there is no chance they are better. And you're offensive line, most of who graduated, will handle them just fine...
