I think Westfield is a run first offense and may have attempted 200 passes last season....even when they had a pretty good QB in Jacoby Walker(Arkansas) it took pretty decent playoff runs for him to crack 2,000 yards. Westfield is a large school with talent year in, year out. I dont think they are gonna change up everything and go full spread just because of two transfers. That's like saying a stud WR moving to Katy will get 1100 yards receiving IMO. He still has to adjust to the game speed at the top tier of 6A and competion level, this will be a heck of a jump and Spring ISD are never hurting in the "athlete" department.....again...just my opinion.

Throw for 3000 yards in Westfields offense? Are they a spread team now? He may COMBINE for 3000....1500 rushing and 1500 passing....I can see that being the more likely scenario.

Is it possible for them to go D1? IMO it's gonna be HELL getting out of Region 3 Div 2 with:
Katy
Manvel
Dawson
Hightower
Cinco Ranch

Now that I think about it...Region 3 as a whole...will be as good as it's been in awhile:
 
D1: Lamar, Pearland, North Shore, Cy-Fair and Then D2 is loaded as well.

Westfield/Mavel will be fun to watch

District champs only. Not the top D1/D2 seeds. Still, this should have been done years ago. Makes no sense for district champs to travel to play 4th place teams.

And not a SETX team...But Katy having 2 2,000 yard backs is not out of the question. Both Anderson and Porter had over 1900 last season.
Houston Lamar got another transfer and with their weak district Ronnie Wesley(854yards last season) and Tyriek Gray(1054 at Episcopal) both should hit 1000
