I watched them practice Thursday. He was hitting the receivers perfectly with a  nice tight spiral. He is not mobile, but with his size due to his muscular build. He can get u about 3-4 yards on a zone read . Problem with PAM QB situation is it can be predictable. If they put the sophomore in, it’s a qb run. If the other qb goes in, probably a pass. I do like the backs and the transfer slot receiver has hands and speed!

This year feels like the team we had when Goode came and Baker was the starting back and Amante was a freshman. That team was unknown . So yeah imma say more of a reload than rebuild.

Some changed numbers and some are new and being billed as big play makers etc.., I’m not expecting last year, but if anyone knows roster info or whose competing for starting qb and rb positions please post and do we have a kicker?? Some kids look big and some are small( that doesn’t mean anything if u witnessed our run game last year) I said last year, Jones had improved as a football player. I still don’t trust him throwing the ball as a qb, but kid was a physical blocking wr despite his frame!!

They will begin the tear down process of the stadium immediately after the last Lufkin home game 2026. They will also move the one year old turf over to the Middle School field and are building a new track there at the same time to use in 2027 while new stadium is under construction at the HS. All Lufkin home games in 2027 will be played at SFA Homer Bryce Stadium. SFA may also be planning a stadium renovation in 2028, if this is so, then SFA will be offered to play their home games at the new Abe Martin Stadium in 2028.

I can stand up to it because I know what former players endured playing png. Doesn’t matter. Even some of png fans are separating themselves from people like u. PAM was the best defensive team in the area.Holding teams to around 15 pts on avg. Saturday was the first time in awhile they gave up that many yards and points since game 2 of the season. Also this year, as a team, they did not get penalties like Saturday. Idk if the refs was calling ticky tack holding or actual holding. The false starts and offsides are very uncharacteristic. IMO, PAM run defense is one of the best in the state. Shut #22 down and we got a real shot. Also rb’s like him don’t do well against PAM defenses. He’s one of those bruising backs that you can’t let him gain momentum. Not saying he’s a Derrick Henry, but runs similar.
