Now we know where McGallion is headed. I mean, why would they settle for Fedora when you can have SILSBEE's coach?
I was attending NHS when McGallion was HC. He was a very good guy.

This one is Carthage's to lose. Defense stepped up when they needed to! Hats off to the Bulldogs.
-
41-34 Navasota. Rattlers haven't been able to stop Carthage.
-
I'm no coach but that wasn't a smart time to go for it. Turnover on downs in Navasota territory.
-
27-19 Navasota
-
20-19 Huge pick 6 for the Rattlers.
-
Carthage gets the turnover on downs. 19-14 Carthage
-
COME ON DAWG DEFENSE !! GOTTA HAVE A STOP OR TURNOVER. i hate it but our opportunity has slipped away from us i think. rattlers score making it 35-21. u Jasper Bulldogs i and i know all the Bulldog Nation is proud of ur season and the helluva effort u gave it tonight. thanks for another winning season!! good game u pesky rattlers! good luck and health to ur young men the rest of the way
what happened to the QB last night??? Did he get hurt?
-
Carthage is bout to give Navasota all they want.
I hope so. I'm glad Navasota actually has to play now instead of the 50+ blowouts.
-
Bad play on 4th and a foot... Williams was running wild all night. No way I would've gone around the edge. Great game Jasper Bulldogs!
-
Go Bulldogs!!! WOS is pulling for you!
35-21 Blue. Sorry Goblin.
-
28-21 Williams breaks off a long run
-
28-14 Blue
-
21-14 Big Blue. Score by the big TE after unsportsmanlike penalty on Jasper.
-
21-7 Big Blue.
-
10minutes 13 seconds left in second quarter and the pesky rattlers score to go up 14-7
Jasper's offense doesn't look high powered as I expected especially after the 1st drive. Looks like a game here though.

Fun fact Navasota hasn't played anyone...
Im just ready to see how Jasper does against Navasota. Barbay has the team believing that they can actually win so i doubt jasper will come out scared and afraid Friday.
I doubt if they will be scared. Columbia came out pumped and "not scared" (recovered onside kick 1st play) but unless your team can score OFTEN and keep us off the field, it will another victory for Big Blue.

that was the same talk about them last yr lol.
Navasota is prepared. Trust me...
-
Wasn't the title of the thread "best WR in SETX"?
Navasota is not in our coverage area.
Navasota is in SE TX. Maybe you should extend your "coverage area".... T-Mobile

Any chance of this thing selling out? If so, where can I get advance tickets?
I dont think so. If Navasota/LaMarque didnt sell it out. I dont see Newton/Cameron selling it out. -

Wow y'all are never satisfied huh? Your team won the game and is moving on to the next game...so why would it be any of your concern what our coach says after the game??? MOVE ON!!!
Because many people downed Dawson's coach for making a similar statement AFTER Nederland beat them!
There is a big difference between we beat ourselves and the best team didn't win.
Note: word in bold... If you aren't giving credit to the team that beat you then there isn't a BIG difference. And WO-S didn't beat themselves, They were dominated by a better team! The "best defense in the state" was neutralized with the same speed on the other side of the ball. The pressure on the qb was neutralized with great blocking, and that highly touted secondary was exposed. Now they do swarm to the ball like crazy, I must admit. WO-S did commit TOs, but so did Navasota! After scoring 3 plays into the game, I knew this defense was not going to be able to contain Navasota. -
Its fairly new thats probably why you havent been to it.

'87, noticed a little animosity toward WO-S in some of your posts. We know Navasota is the better team and proved it last night and probably would again tonite if they played. I don't think WO-S defense was overated, the numbers don't lie. Surely they haven't seen the likes of the "Rattlers but dont belittle a very good defense. Maybe you're still smarting from that '86 beatdown, I don't know.

Numbers dont lie, but they surely can exaggerate the truth!

I think Coach Sigler is the old A&M Consol coach from my high school days.
