Sheperd hasnt won a district game at all. I dont see Silsbee having any trouble. Huffman will be tough but I think Silsbee will get the win in that game also. Good luck Tigers!!

I am new to blogging on this site.  I am a big fan of this site.  I agree Westbrook is looking great.  I think having a new head coach in Talon Morgan-Smith has been a welcomed addition.  Also, Jr. Amari Franklin is having an outstanding year.

I could not disagree more with your comment about playing "softball" at the next level and a H.S. helping you to accomplish that. H.S. softball helps very little if not any at all. It is about exposure to Colleges OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL BALL!!! for softball. Other sports like football I guess H.S. Sports helps to get to the next level but softball.....you could not be more wrong. Pick a H.S. the player enjoys and hope for a great season to go a few rounds deep in playoffs....then pick a select organization to get what you want if that is to play College Softball

All that I will say is that she loves the game. If you want to be better then you need competition. With that being said I would welcome that in Deweyville.

The GT Shockers Gold team qualify for ASA Gold Nationals in Oklahoma City , OK. for 2016. Our team played in Fort Worth this past weekend and did it. There have only been 2 teams from our area that ever accomplished this the Blast Gold did it 4 times and the GT Shockers Gold have now done it 2 times. I want to say a huge congratulations to my team for making some adjustments and achieving 1 of our goals for the Fall.  

WO-S is a power hitting team.  Have to be able to throw some blocks at Teel to come out on top.  They can be streaky but never look past them. 
Bears have a good program, been a tough year but not down.  Keep at it.

My daughter will be home for the summer and will be available to give lessons to any young girl in the golden triangle area. She played 2 yrs at San Jac and is now playing at Mississippi College. She coached 2 years for 12's HoneyBeez in houston and this year 17's for Mississippi Impact. U can msg me for details.

Good luck to Team Mizuno Red 05 (10U), Mizuno-Ashworth (12U) and Team Mizuno (14U). They are all playing this weekend at O.D. Johnson in Lake Charles.
