Ned took that game away from PNG cause they wanted to get cute on offense, sorta like OT last night versus TC. 😁

I disagree that PNG gave away the win. They were down in the first half, then stormed back and then it was a hard fought game. Both teams had good plays and both had mistakes. But if you really want to talk about giving away...... that fumble on the 1 yard line TC had on the kickoff was the easiest score I've seen in a long time. Thats +7 right there.

Wow....  BH did by Land (Running) , by Air ( Passing) , Big Ned better be glad Water (Swimming) wasn't involved BH would have swam circles around that Dominate Defense.

Several people said the Nederland defense would be the difference in the game. Technically they weren’t wrong.

I think we need to transition him to RB and use him like the Panthers use CMC.

BH have improved since then. They are settling into the new system and their program itself is making bigger strides than any around the Golden Triangle.

I’m worried about this one. Barbers Hill has the best offense we have faced all season and their backs are against the wall. This is a huge game for both teams.

The two dirtiest teams in the district fight it out. I predict 20 15 yard penalties. 

Early in the week I said to put Fuselier on #0 and he would have a BIG game.Well the kid made a dummy out of me.He was burnt on a post route early in the game and then shuts Fuselier down with 2 nice interceptions.In the 4th quarter Fuselier was on the opposite side of the field.Broussard took a beating with TC's defensive ends sometimes looked untouched.Bell was not a big factor in the game.Duran and Avery was enough.I agree with the evaluation of the officiating crew, they were terrible. 

So which is it? Big , slow ? No speed? Etc…..etc…. Or coaching? We are limited at the skill spots on Offense , almost as limited as I’ve seen… Yet we are still 5-1…. That looks more like a pretty good effort on the coaching part to me. Chicken salad….

Well running back (#9) was hurt on last kickoff...maybe this will force coach to realize #8 NEEDS to be involved on offense ...embarrassing coaching last 3 minutes of half.

Need to put the ball in the hands of #8 some wild cat, some reverses, screens, or just hand it off to him something.

Our offense is an absolute joke. The fans who made this trip also got a free ticket to the circus as well which are these refs.

Although Shug was really good player (a personal friend of ours) there wasn't enough firepower on the team for a title run. During those years, they struggled to have healthy RB's, a horrendous defense, really good teams keyed on Shug. PNG hasn't had a really good defense since probably 1999, when they lost to Stephenville in the state title game. At the 5A level in our area, Nederland, PNG, Crosby, every now and then a BH or PAM will go 3 rounds and if really lucky 4 rounds, and lightning in a bottle (Crosby) to a title game. But to expect PNG to go to a title game because of one player (Shug) is crazy and to blame it all on if someone is a good coach or not is even more crazy. Just my opinion though.

Last point…when 2 teams are as evenly matched as these 2 often are, it often comes down to who has the best player…last night, that proved to be #8 for Nederland…the kid is special and can score anytime he has his hands on the ball…proved that tonight 

Great game…personally I think png gave up on the run game too soon…nederland played it better in the second half, but never really controlled it…png was only down 3 with 5:36 left and had a reasonable chance to run the ball down the field and control the clock leaving Nederland very little time

Crosby thinks they will beat anybody by 40 and when the don’t some one was sick, hurt, everyone dropped passes, TD’s we’re called back , Ref missed holding calls etc.
