I can't tell you all the scores of past years ,or who won what.. But I can tell you I can pick up the phone and call a coach (a friend) after 20 years and he will answer everytime, and the topic isn't even about football. I intentionally don't mention football because there are other things that are more important.

This is exactly why I don't come on this site hardly anymore. All the kids you should be honored an proud of being nominated and then becoming a finalist. That is a great accomplishment.
  The grown men who belittle a fine young man and talk him down after a  outstanding night should be ashamed.
If you don't agree with the nominees, the finalist, or the winner then that is your opinion and everyone has one. But why can't some people just say Good Job guys, yall all should be proud what a great achievement ?
  How hard is that?  I sure hope Montana doesn't come on here and see a bunch of grown men knocking him when half of them haven't seen him play.
If this was your child how would you feel coming on a website and seeing your kid being talked about by a bunch of men? And yes i said a kid! 17..
To all the kids congrats. To Montana you don't read this garbage. What a awesome night for you and keep proving people wrong. Coach Mathews preaches about being the underdog, and fighting when no one else thinks you have a chance. That's the biggest thrill of all watching you do something that you, your team,coaches and family knew you could do ,when everyone doubted you.
  Come August please pick us last and tell us we don't have a chance.. It just motivates the kids. Keep sipping on that "Hatorade."

Life is grand. Got to see a great game earlier and two great teams play there tails off.Proud of our kids and coaches and everyone who showed up to support us.
PNG white is a great team and well coached. .
So is Vidor white.

No it isn't. Ask Vidor fans what they thought of playing their playoff game at PUS last year.

8,000 Vidor fans on the home side and only 1 concession stand open with just 3 people working it.

Also the press box is less than accommodating.

Lamar does not roll out the red carpet for high school games.

Butch is better place for local playoff games.

I watched that kid last night play before my son's 8th grade game. He's good, but why wouldn't they put him on the 8th grade team? And in my opinion there is no way he can play at the varsity level. He would be an average player at the 9th grade level. Just my opinion

From what I was told the owner of the site has received emails from "certain" people on here. He was just asking everyone to kind of tone down the personal attacks.
Most of it is all in good fun. But "certain" people who have sensitivity problems take it personal and so the man in charge asked for everyone to tone down the messages.
  Don't shot the messenger ,that's just what I been told .
This is a informative and fun site to visit. Some person(s) that doesn't know everyone I assumed took things personal and sent the emails.
Let's have fun ,but make sure we tone it down.

that even makes it look worse. How does one PNG team beat another PNG team 51-0? Unless the PNG Purple coach didnt show up for the draft and he got the left overs.

You might want to get the facts straight.  The PNG coach kept throwing it EVERY down and Vidor had at least 3 interception returns for touchdowns. We wanted to run the clock, but apparently the PNG coach didn't . Also after 41 was put up on the scoreboard our scorekeeper would not put anymore points on the scoreboard for Vidor(so it showed 41). Also he did run the clock in the 4th just to get the game over with. What would you like to tell the 9-10 year old third string running back to do? Just take a knee? 
Also there were fumbles that the refs would point vidor ball and the Vidor coaches said "no they were down". (PNG football.)
  It amazes me how PNG  always has one AWESOME team and  the other one(s) are horrible. If you really want to gripe go to a PNG Draft and voice your concerns.
When a coach throws the ball every other down (after getting his hat handed to him)and stops the clock, or risks the ball being intercepted he is just prolonging the game. Not very smart in my opinion. If you weren't there, get back on your high horse and keep your mouth shut.

PNG -P Got Beat by there[b] own [/b] PNG-G team [b]51-0.[/b] PNG-P was outscored this year 299-43. Are you still wondering which one is the horrible team?
  Vidor -W is 8-0.
  Vidor -B is 4-4 which is .500(not bad). So I set the math up for you along with the facts. Now when you figure this out then you tell me your answer to your own question.

Gucci: Your talking to the wrong person. You called the Vidor coaches "classless." That's the only thing I responded to. The problem you have with Beaumont ,that's between yall.
    Any other problems you have with any other games or organizations then that's between yall. The only thing I referred to was taking up for the Vidor coaches when I felt there integrity was being questioned. If somehow we misunderstood eachother I apologize.  But Vidor is not the one who should be questioned or blamed as you stated earlier.

Like I said earlier I wasn't aware of the Beaumont incident so I won't, and can't comment on something  I have no information about.(nor would I want to ).
I can just speak for the game  I saw and I PROMISE you the Vidor coaches did everything in there power to make this a fun, and respectful game. I just wasn't going to sit back and watch our coaches get called "classless"  and other names by "Gucci" on a message board when He/She wasn't even at the game.( I hope SHE if your using a name "Gucci").
