Who knows? I sure hope we go to State. But i do know that your team wont be going PIMP SMACK!!!! I mean the massey ratings are quite a bit different from the coaches polls. So lets just see what happens on the field. I mean Giddings and Palestine had been whipping everyone last year until they met us. For the posters on here who give their opinion with a dash of support...thanks. And to the haters who will NEVER EVER be a part of any football tradition .........get ya popcorn ready!!!!! There is a chance Bc will upset WO-S Friday night. About as good a chance as It snowing at the Stadium Friday night. Your only hope is we get locked in the locker room and cannot get to the field. I do like watching Dishon he is a gamer. But man he definitely misses Armand this year. Good luck..............in hoops! P.s. Seriously,i hope you all travel safely,and that no one gets hurt. WO-S would beat the crap out of EC. No offense,you know it and we do too. It would not even be close. Just say you all have a good team and you think it will go a little ways in the playoffs,but dont call out any big-boys. Especially when you guys would never schedule any of them. Stay in ya place 2a!!! Deweyville put up yards and points on you. The big boys woyld whip ya. Plain and simple!!

Come on man!! Cant stop dishon? Be serious. Tell ya what. Lets say Dishon gets 150 yards and two touchdowns. We still beat the crud out of you guys. We put up 40 on O field and had the ball about 15 minutes. They had the ball for 30+ minutes and put up 13 points. You guys are not much better than the other schools we have whipped in this district.You are about even with O field,HJ,and that spells doom. Take your rightful place as usual somewhere behind the Stangs. Not being rude just typing what i feel!!!! Good luck,and be safe.

But the Next Vince Young statements are being thrown out quite frequently. We all need to remember these guys are all doing good with pretty good support around them. Let that offense lose a few players and lets see what he can do.That goes for my Mustangs as well.

BH would get dogged out in a reg season game just like in a scrimmage. Dayton would be a better game,but i think we still take it. This area really cant touch WO-S this year. I would love to see other teams around here whittle their squads down to 25 or 26 players and do what we do on a consistent basis. Meet us in "Da Offs" Its going down!!!!!

Youwish,when this kid does half the things Vince has done in High school then i will listen. Let alone his accomplishments in college.There are a load of brilliant people that want vince's checkbook buddy!! Being a brother with size,speed and playing qb does not mean you will be the next VY.Remember that!!!!

I sincerely applaud Orangefields efforts. I was surprised they moved the ball so well,but their coach did just the right thing to keep the game from getting terribly ugly. They ran the ball even though they were losing by a large amount. Most teams would be dropping back trying to pass,and then wo-s woul have put up 70 points. Kudos for orangefield coach sticking to what was working so as not to let his boys get terribly embarrassed. Bridge City you are next,and this one wont be close enough for a moral victory!!!!Good luck

Saying who is the best is very hard to do. I think Mosley is the best because of stats,and he shows up in big games fo NED. He even produces when The other teams put 8 or 9 in the box to stop him. What i realize over the years is that having a good high school career means little when the scouts put the stopwatch on ya,or when God stopped ya at 5'6" instead of 5'10". Ive seen plenty of WO-S D lineman and linebackers handle bigger boys from All the area schools and alot of the guysthey destroyed end up with scholarships to big-time schools because not only were they good players, but they had bigger frames and were taller. Its just the way it goes. The scouts like numbers and stats,but alot of times they have a pre set size that they want a guy to be. And definitely having some speed and moves is a plus. Mosley is the truth(although D. Garrett is my favorite).Both really good backs in therir own right.The Deweyville kid is good but move him up a classification or two and i KNOW he would not put up those stats. Just my 3 cents.

Htexans90 I understand you may have seen Central expose some weaknesses in Dayton's game but, you dont have the same players as Central to take advantage of those percieved weaknesses. Mosley needs to have one of his "Super" performances to even stay close in this game. If its left in the hands of NHS defense it could get ugly.

Hey the STJFL(little league) Lumberton White team,and the Lumberton 1 Flag team are really good. Honest!!!

Hey Guys I just want to say how thoroughly exciting these STJFL games have been. I help coach the WO-S flag team and my son and his buddys love playing on Saturdays. I watched a few flag games this weekend and they were intense. Lumberton1 beat Hardin Jefferson 6-0,and woodville Black beat Bridge City Black 25-19..and the final touchdown was scored on a long run with 5 seconds left on the clock.The second round games are all in Orange starting at 8:30 am. Hope all can make it. Good luck guys.

We may be out of there by 9 with the continuous clock!! . Just havin a lil fun. I like your spunk 25...but dont take this whippin personal. Its just buisness.

You are soooo right Silsbee 92!! It is as boring as that stomping will be tomorrow night.HJ is in our district! We have to play them!! I would NEVER use a post to stir up a team that on a non-motivated night could whip most teams in this area. I was trying to get some opinions on the subject. I see that some teams play anyone ,and some Do look for an easier opponent. And Mr. airitout123 if it was ignorant i apologize.....you must be from a squad that gets picked for the hc opponent regularly!! Guys thanks for the informative answers and posts. Just forget about it guys. "SilsbeeD" I did not say anyone was talking smack,i said i wish they would talk smack instead of everyone trying so hard not to hurt feelings.. Bottom line they should have picked someone else for such a festive night!!!! I figure if we can handle these offensive and defensive lines with such a size difference......then that will be the last time we hear about someone lining up and running over us. Is it LOGICAL to go through your schedule and pick the BEST(by far) team on your schedule for your homecoming game? I was trying to find out if it was done on purpose as motivation or something,or if they just drew it out of a hat or whatever. Is it logical for a Silsbee fan to talk noise after seeing what WO-S has done to their other opponents? NO! But yet and still they do it on a daily basis. Regardless of what anyone says most teams do not pick their toughest opponent for hc. Oh and BH89 i liked that response. Talk a little noise....im tired of the logical babble.

I was just asking. Thanks Griff. I always thought you picked who you wanted to play for homecoming before every season.Actually i was told that the coaches select the hc opponent. "Silly" to me is picking the the one team in your district that is ranked in the top 5 in the state to be your HC game. I talked to several players this week and all of them said that it s not talked about loudly the outside,but them and a few coaches thought the choice as hc opponent was a small slap in the face. Thats the only reason i asked. Thats alot of mums,corsages,and pretty dresses to get all smeared with tears!Once again thanks for the input .

Thanks mustang! I got two quality opinions and then that crap from you. My point is winning hc is another added pressure that Silsbee did not need besides having to face WO-S between the lines. Cut me some slack mustang!!
