Good Job Vidor!! There I said it. They manhandled us up front. I hope Vidor has a great season. But...the uproar over this scrimmage is hilarous. Its obvious who wins on a regular basis and who doesn't. Vidor you cant get on here pounding your chest and then go 5 -5. Do it when it counts.

Size is the least of our worries.Im putting WO-S White in the bowl along with WO-S Blue. With Lum. White in the Semis. the 4th team will be up for grabs.And if i recall two years ago we whipped that Nederland team in the bowl. You gotta bring alot more than "big" to the table.

IF these teams are as evenly matched as some believe(and for the record i dont think they are) then it comes down to coaching. And WO-S wins that battle hands down. The Silsbee qb is a stud no doubt. But they still continually have sub-par seasons.Im not from Mizzou but the tigers are gonna have to show me.

I agree TD. Its kinda like Romo and the boys. U got rid of your so called "problem" and now things are gonna run perfect and WO-S is gonna score on every possession. We will have 3 1,000 yd receivers and two running backs combine for 1950 yds. All the receivers and backs will have double digit touchdowns too . Now i hope like hell we win us a "ship" but to think the coordinator was the only problem is a stretch. I mean we did give up 35 points in the last game. We have been overstocked with wr/db 's lately. When was the last time we had a breakaway back that struck fear in everyone?Now we have had some really good backs lately,but not a stud with scary speed. In my opinion a speed back would make our offense really click. Im not talkin about fast against our district. No im talking fast enough to worry the power house teams in 3a. I hear we have some young studs coming up at the tailback position. Anyone have any info on those players?

Last year WO-S had some big drops early,and Gilmer won some jump balls in one on one coverage,and took advantage of some busted coverages.In the 2nd half we blitzed more,and got back into the game and the busted coverage on our safety completely took the wind out of our sails.If im not mistaken Gilmers last td was on 3rd or 4th and long. As good as we are year in and year out we cant have games that bad 3or 4 weeks into the playoffs.

Its simple you add up the fact that you just enabled an association to build four teams out of approx. 6,000 kids league age estimated from the 21oo+ they have in West Brook plus the 900+ in Kelly high school all from the west end minus the fact that nederland has approx. 2800 league age kids = Beaumont. We went down that road and until you live it there is no explaining. We restricted them to building teams per elementary which made them a 3a size school, and they were a quality organization but when they could not dominate they went back to Houston, its as simple as this no one around here can compete against that kind of talent draw unless you bring in all of Port Arthur or combine all of Nederland and Port Neches-Groves. You bring Beaumont and your 8 million kids and tell them to come and get some of this. Crunching numbers scares no organization in the STJFL.

We all see the teams year in and year out that have giant kids playing linebacker, or running the ball that we know they are too big to play the position. It happens quite often. And as much as we hate to see it there are those parents that will make a kid diet or take a laxative to make the weight. Its stupid and terrible but it happens. I would like the referees to know the rules more thoroughly. As far as how an actual lo is suppossed to line up,and to pay attention to the kids lined up over your center and such. It seems as if none of the refs knew about these rules. Too many grey areas on these subjects. One issue i had also is if an lo cant run the ball,then how can he advance a fumble or an interception? I was under the impression it was dead at the spot he got it. That was the original reason lo were not allowed on kick offs and kick returns,because they did not want them with a chance to end up with the ball. Just would like some insight on this. How about a 2nd weigh in at the halfway point of the season?

I don't care who WO-S has had to play this season!! The bottom line is we have done what good teams do when they encounter lesser teams......DEMOLISHED THEM!! We have whipped several teams very soundly. One team had no first downs!!!Do u know how hard it is to hold a team to no first downs? Caldwell finished with 167 total yds. and 74 came on one run. We are a very solid team, from top to bottom. And size ain't S%*@!!! Change your name to "GETWRECKED08",BECAUSE that's what will happen Saturday!! I just have to say that as terrible as we thought the officiating was, I doubt the ref on our side would let a grown man cuss out kids in earshot of him and not do anything about it. Also there is not a coach on WO-S sideline on any team at any level that would allow another coach on staff cuss at kids. We have played about 8 or 9 games this year,and that was the 1st cussing charge this year. It also is funny that the complaint was made right after KJ broke the long run (and broke about three ankles juking ;D). We also had Erik Guillory (president of wo-s league, and Rick Dearing-(board member and coach from BC) standing within earshot of our coaches on our sideline. IT DID NOT HAPPEN!!! AT ALL. HAS NOT HAPPENED ALL SEASON!!

JUNIOR WHITE 28-14. Too many weapons on the White Team. And a whole lot of Defense. Also they have battled i think 5 or 6 of the eight playoff teams in the JR. Division. So they are battle tested. Will be a good game. Key will be what team does not let the stress of playing against friends and family in front of friends and family take them over.
