I'm lost Mr.SteveNash ,freeze was saying he wanted to apologize if someone felt disrespected..I simply said he shouldn't have to apologize for his opinion...period...and then I said some of the PEOPLE on this forum throw tantrums like children wasn't for this particular topic at hand...  :)
Perhaps he felt the need to apologize since some interpreted some of his remarks as one coach being critical of another on a message board
I agree with some of the points on here....if your lookin for a win then that was a good one...but it doesn't fix the glaring weakness you have in your offense. You can say defensively they played well but like freeze1914 said how many times can u run the box and 1. They were outplayed and exposed by a West Brook team just a few days ago. HJ is not a deep team..no bench play will get u beat a lot of games...  Central will be good but don't expect much more until they get an OFFENSE that works. Even Yates had a method to their madness and I heard someone from their staff say that's how they wanna play.. ???.....really now....well Wise is great coach...and until the staff at Central work on that in PRACTICE instead of running up and the down the court then that's what they'll have...
And the very issues you mention are resolved over a pre-district schedule as opposed to a single game.
If he was looking for the Moment win your right.
I am thinking that if he is the head coach, he has the right to make that decision.  The season is a very long process and I can remember an HJ team that after starting 1-2 including a loss to Central, wound up in Austin.  So apparently, there was adequate time after that loss to make all necessary adjustments.

 8. The "basketball market" will quickly recognize this and Central will have several opportunities to contend with a slow down type game.  Same goes for Hj in another respect.  Now the word will be out that "all you  have to do" is put someone on Johnson and thats all there is to it.  I am fairly confident that Central will make adjustments to a slower type game (by virtue of some pre district opponents trying that) just as HJ will adjust to situations where Johnson becomes closely guarded.

I'm a Central alum and former basketball player there. It's about down the road when the run and gun not working or you can't box and 1 somebody else. I expected to see something different after going up by 20
Here is  something for you to consider.  Is it possible, just slightly possible, that those who coach for a living are better suited to make those "strategic" decisions than you are?
Yes! Jags will be fine as soon as they figure out a few things. And it ain't all the coaches' fault. 18. I have it on pretty good authority that the best player on the floor for the Ozen-Yates game was Little Dove.  No doubt it is due to the CONSERVATIVE approach his father took in teaching him the game.

 21.
I don't think its the coach at Central as people try and make it out to be.  :-X Is he perfect ? Nope! Wasn't he coach of the year last year? Winning eases the tension. Lets just say some people  ran to Central chasing somebody's else dream, and not their own. :-X :-X
then why is this "Austin Bound" team not performing very well so far? After all, the speed of the boss is the speed of the gang.
 22. If he is the major problem, wouldnt you think he would need to be "out of his job" VERY soon  in order for Central to be in Austin in March?
 23. So, in essence, you state in various posts that the players are in the wrong positions and the coaches have infrequent huddles with players not involved and they start out 0-2 but you still expect them to be in Austin?  Please elaborate, oh wise one.
 24. He thinks he is being some master psychologist when he says that.

Hmmm?
Dove- Does this mean you are rescinding your Austin predictions for Central?
