Tennessee bill: no food stamps for ice cream, soda

Can't argue with that. Who would have ever thought that you and I would be discussing from such viewpoints?:) -

I've got mixed emotions on this one. On the one hand, I can understand that these monies are intended for basic staples. On the other, I am always troubled when the government starts telling you what is good for you and what is not. -
Trump Military Likely to End Social Experiments

Totally agree- actually just taking a jab at those central planning/collectivism advocates. It's never worked and it never will. -

You must understand that the left HONESTLY BELIEVES that government can do a better job of providing jobs than the free markets can.. -
Let it continue and let the left continue to believe that it was Russia, Comey, fake news, etc etc that cost them the election(S)

What if he had posted it last week?
-
Yes it does and it has the same credibility as "9-11 was an inside job"

Rem- are you stating that the war was begun specifically to improve the financial situation for Halliburton? It might interest you to know that lthe largest direct/indirect holder of Halliburton stock during that time was LadyBird Johnson

Sorry, but you can give full credit to the Community Reinvestment Act, no money down/no proof of ability to pay mortgages, and a certain segment of society's desire to make society more inclusive by making it too easy to purchase a home. Special kudos to Chris Dodd and Barney Frank. Tge bank deregulation comment sounds enlightened but it hardly relates to the sub prime lending meltdown which precipitated the crisis of 08.

That's why they like the new label "climate change"

There is no better example regarding government involvement in healthcare than the VA- major disaster

Good, I can think of two or three posters who have seen it only once or twice and they need to have the information reinforced. -

Yes it is. But to make it official, you might want to consider posting the individual wins/loss history 3 or 4 more times. -
According to a number of your "associates" 9-11 was an inside job and Bush blew up the levees in New Orleans in order to harm minorities. If we are going strictly by whose "watch" it is under, Mr. Obama gets full and complete credit for most people ever on food stamps, first and only downgrade in rating of U.S. Government debt, and the biggest increase in the national debt ever accumulated under a single president. The seeds for the financial crisis were sown long before Mr. Bush got into office but go ahead and believe he did it- self delusion can be a wonderful thing.
-
A contrived set up to begin with. Love this verdict. I await "balance" from Rem.
-
Common Rem- aren't you going to "balance" this comment out?

Blaming Bush for the financial crisis is 2008 is very very lame
