Hey scooter, was it you that deleted my post? ut is going to have a big gag reflex come tomorrow!!!

I must have been confused and was thinking about how K-State and aTm has beaten the shorthorns twice in a row. I can admit when I make a mistake, and we will see on 10/11/08 who is the better team. I am not going to make a bold prediction that we will win two in a row, but OU should be favored. But ut is very capable of winning this game and anything can happen. Especially seeing what happened this past weekend regarding the upsets.

OU has won one in a row. Soon to be two.

A little late reporting in here but we travelled back home to stay with my parents in Claremore, OK. We heard that our home in Lumberton appears to be fine. We even got power back on Saturday evening at 8:00 pm. Just heard from my neighbor that we now have phone/internet service. The streets all around our house are without power and that it is sporadic throughout Lumberton, that power is on mainly on the HW69 side.

It looks like we may have enough people to start a chapter of the Sooner Club in Beaumont. Gotta love the enthusiasm. BOOMER SOONER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The sooners better watch out because Cinci looks like a sleeper on their schedule!!! Could be some fireworks! I am not going to argue that. If OU plays like they can it should not be too much of a problem. But, that is what we thought last year with TT and Colorado.

There's the spirit...I like your attitude.....but OU still sux. Looks like I will be going to the RRR this year, so I will get to see first hand who sux more. Looks like aTm might rival Baylor for the suckiest this year though.

What really sucks is having to live amongst all you texans. Apparently all of the good ones come home to the motherland on the north side of the Red River. ;D But I do have to admit that some of my best friends are tu shorthorn fans.

Ridiculous! Bowling is not even a sport, let alone being considered for adoption into athletic programs. We should work to get wrestling into all of the school districts.

Does anyone know if any of the schools in Lumberton have a room that has mats that could be used for holding youth wrestling practices? I heard the Intermediate school has a room that the cheerleaders/Raiderettes use for practice, but I don't know for sure. I would like to start a youth wrestling program here as there are several kids/parents who are interested. My background is in wrestling and would like to have a place for my son and other boys to practice. This town has Little Dribblers but nothing for boys who don't play basketball. Thanks.

The biggest upset I was part of is also one of my most embarrasing moments. My team (Claremore Zebras) were unranked and playing the Oklahoma Class 4A #1 ranked Miami Wardogs at Miami. My embarrassing moment broke the tension in the locker room and we played with reckless abandon. We shut them out 18-0. I won't go into detail about the embarrassing moment.

I sure do, as well as Dot's Cafe in the same building. I only moved to SE Texas 4 years ago. I was born and raised in Claremore. You may not have gone to this town but my wife is from Pryor, which is just north of Chouteau.
