Free throws win games, we didn't hit ours when we had to have them. And you're right Miguez was off, he didn't hit one 3. However, kid is a scorer. He took it to the rack and ended up with 17-19, I think only one was a jump shot. Maybe should've had it in his hands more in the 4th, I think he only took 2 shots

With about 4 min/3:30 remaining, Ozen fouled us and we missed the front end of the 1-1 twice. Ozen capitalized with an easy bucket on a deep 3. That tied the game, so we stalling wasn't a viable option, IMO. 

Can't argue with that. Simply put if we made our FT's we win this game.

Ozen was never on the verge of blowing this one open. Ned does not lose their composure

Just an observation. Seemed reasonable to me. We were not shooting the ball well all night. 

Ned was up by 7 with about 3 mins left. I kept waiting for our stall but it never happened? Why not hold the ball and wait for the foul?

Great game. Both teams have things they need to work on. Next match up should be another good game. 

Just remembered the lighting in Ozen's gym is horrible giving them a huge home court advantage . Just sayin

On paper this game probably shouldn't be close. Ozen obviously has the better athletes. Ned strength is that we have role players that together make a pretty good TEAM. Not sure that that will be enough tonight.

Congrats to Ned and congrats to Miguez who dropped 38 tonight. One of the best all around games I've seen him play. 

I saw the segment on Fox 4 tonight highlighting Coach Lynch. I played for Coach Lynch back in the late 70's, and my son has just finished his 8th grade year playing for Coach Lynch. I have told my son various "Coach Lynch stories" and am very thankful he now has some "Coach Lynch stories" of his own!! You have to have played for this man to understand the impact he has had on not only Nederland athletics but more importantly helping young boys turn into young men. I remember Coach Lynch saying, "If I havent quit yelling at you, I haven't given up on you". If my memory is correct, I can still see him walking through the locker room singing "Lay Down Sally". Good times, good memories. From 2 generations, THANK YOU COACH LYNCH.

Very good game, fun, exciting. Both teams seemed to play clean and show good sportsmanship. Some big plays on both sides. Congratulations to Vidor. This is our 1st loss, so sets stage for another great game next week between C.O. And Lumberton!!

The coaches may be considered tough, but look at the teams/wins they produce.  My advise is if you can't tolerate a tough loud hollering coach, football may not be for you, especially at C.O. Wilson.! We love our coaches, especially every Tues night when we go home with a W.

Heard Kingwood had a 6'6, 6'6, and a 6'8. Nederland was not intimidated. This varsity group, I think, was one of the first group of boys playing in Nederlands Little Dribblers program. They have played a lot of ball between little Dribblers, summer play (M.C. Flight), and school!!!
