Helton will be a senior...as far as returning starters not sure exactly but I would say around 5 on offense and 4 on defense.

Guys I'm telling you, if your any type of sports collector (autographed helments, jerseys, etc.) Orangefield is the place to be this Saturday. You'll be amazed at the items they will have to auction off. It will definately be worth the trip, make it out there and enjoy the day!!!

I've heard that he wants to make the baseball field the new softball field and build a new baseball field. Sounds pretty good...don't the girls now have to play at Ford Park for their home games??

They got game 1 in on both fields, but game 2 was cancelled due to the weather. Orangefield 27 WO-S JV 0 WO-S Varsity and LCM played game 1 on the opposite field, anyone have a score???

Orangefield is having a Little Dribblers warmup tournament this weekend. Sr teams are needed. Orangefield and Bridge City are the only two teams entered right now in the 13-14 yr old division after a couple teams backed out. If anyone has an allstar team or AAU team either 13 or 14 under and would like to play atleast three game this weekend please private message me or reply to this post. Please pass the word on, we need games to get ready for our Regional Tournament in May. Thanks in advance!!!

Hey guys, we need teams for our tournament in Orangefield this weekend in the Senior division. Lumberton backed out, and we are having problems getting back in touch with Livingston Little Dribblers. Right now it's only Orangefield and Bridge City. We need atleast two more teams to have a round robin tourney so each team can get three more games in. If yall can't make our tourney, can someone give us names of teams that might want to play. Thanks for the help in advance!!! And your two teams at this past tournament are very solid...The Hill is going to be very good for years to come. Very impressed with both teams...good luck to yall!!!

Hoops2000 how again is he the best hire for this job. Total bunch of crap if you ask me. Has this guy ever been a head coach at any level? And to answer your question Coop, he won't recruit locally. He knows nothing about the area...I'm very disappointed in Lamar right now. This guy is just using this job to climb the ladder in the coaching ranks, where as someone else, this would have been her dream job. A chance to coach at her school and I can promise you no one would have out worked her. She would have been the new fresh start that this program needed, and she would have turned things around. Not a good hire in my book!!!
