#1 should be better this year also, more mature.  If you are referring to #33 from last year, he graduated. 

We are, and Kountze's district is a lot weaker this year.

Should have sneakers this week, 1st game is next week.  Hardin has high expectations this year, after getting the 3rd spot last year. 

Big Sandy was good last year, W Hardin wasn't .... What's the difference this year for WH?  New talent ?

Warren for their effort in the upset of the week

Kirbyville better be ready, or Warren might beat them. Warren ha tasted winning and wants more.

Or he is mis informed by the community.  Just give Fortune a chance.  Our kids at Hardin are small, except for a couple of linemen and a couple of receivers.  This group of kids will get better next season. I invite you to come to a game, I am at all of them. 

Thank you, plus 1 for you.  Vidor and Orangefield also use the Wing T. Hardin also can throw the ball out of the Wing T. It was nice to see Newton so effective with the pass, that will help them in the playoffs.

What's Obama got to do with me believing in the kids at Hardin and supporting the coaching staff?  They may not win a district championship, but they will improve due to coaching in this next offseason. 

True, weight room it is.  Coach Fortune will get these boys in there.  This is the 1st season in years, weight room has been mandatory, and there will be a dedicated off season to it.  Players have to get I there on their own time and in summer if they want to be successful. 

Great job Newton. These kids are beast, fast, strong and well coached.  Newton is always talented and on occasion you see a group come together with all the right packages, this one fits the description .  Good luck Newton, go get that State title.

Congrats Warren, this Team deserves all the pats on the back they can get. Hard work, never give up, belief in the system. 

According to a new NCAA rule, any action deemed "very demonstrative" or "taunting" before a player crosses the goal line will result in no touchdown and a 15-yard penalty from the spot of the foul. It's about interpretation as well, this is what the ref saw.  It was not necessary to put the arm up ?  Kountze has done really well this year,  keep working hard.

If that was what Newton was about, they would have let their JV whoop the Rest of the district.  Newton has a mission, and I am sure they are looking forward to playing on turf.  It's Senior night for Hardin, and there are a few players who want to see how they do individually. Newton will win, the score depends on when they turn off the gas  I pray there are no injurys to either team. Good luck to Newton, go Win State.  Years from, all from this district, can say my team lost to a Great Newton team, and this is how I played.

That's how UIL did them.  Hardin should fight for the top spot.

They have talent, but it takes work and heart, and a Belief it can be accomplished.  That young pee wee team may seem State bound now, an I hope their hard work pays off, but they have to stay together, not move away, keep up their grades, don't quit playing FB,  etc.
