I have seen the few good yrs and the bad yrs,  it may be awhile before Hardin is as good as 2000 to 2003, but they are moving in the right direction. But I'll continue to support them regardless, as I always have.  Will you be there Friday for the scrimmage ?

Going good,  Learning a new Offense and a new Defense, but lots of energy, and I think they will be better then last years team.  Really like the new Coach, these boys are really being taught and are eager to learn the new system.  Running back looks good, some size on the line too. 

Agreed, I watched the news Fri night, one channel showed 4 scrimmages,  1 channel showed only 1 scrimmage.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion,  imo it was just that a good scrimmage,  as bad as Hardin has looked over the last 10 to 15 yrs, I see a good improvement.  I have been there when it was painful to watch them play,  I actually enjoyed this scrimmage, and am looking forward to the continued improvement.  Come watch a scrimmage or game, see if you see a better team then they have had in the most recent years.

Good scrimmage, both teams scored x 1,  both team put together long drives, that fizzled out, Hardin on a 4th and long 5, Evadale on a fumble.  Hardin looks better then in previous year,  ran the ball well,  still a lot of work to go. Evadale had a few nice passes, they should surprise some people. The Hardin kids seem to have more energy, new Coach has done very well .

Dexter Hebert  from Kelly was just a monster.

Relax, they didnt make him the AD when they hired Dale either.  He is there because of those kids.  Keep up the good work Joubert.

Heard he is NOT interested.

He worked in the diocese , he knows how the pay scale is lower then public schools.  Wasn't a shock.  Is is how the Head coach there doesn't have a lot of control, due to the administration.

Haven't heard that, but we shall see.

Wilridge has become a lot beter , I have been watching him this summer, keep working young man. Where do you think Zeno should play, he def doesn't want any inside action. J Green, and J Hadnot for WB look impressive as well. Da Doves will do what they do, Ozen should look good.

Tony,  I am so proud of you. I have known him and his family since he was quite young, very gifted athlete and academically. Great family,  Congrats from my family.

Big shock, after all the talk of how he knows the kids, has been with them for so long, mkes you wonder what's really going on there.

Summer conditioning is going well,  look improved at 7on7 on Monday.  I am seeing lots of postive things in Hardin.  Really like the new Coach.

I don't understand why people here are so interested in Yates, LOL The players on JV looked really good last year, without there freshamn PG who was out with a knee injury, but is healthy once again.  I know 2 of the other JV players from last year and they were not ready for Varsity ball, but my my how they have gotten better.  I cannot wait to see how they play this fall, it is great to see young men become better and work so hard. 

Coach Haynes supported the boys and girls BB teams.  He was always there.  Coach Fortune has already made a poitive impact on the young men, Good Luck

Its all real. It's diferent at different levels, you may have one "star" player at the lower level, where the upper levels may have 5 of them. You think Kountze doesn't play real basketball ?    So the posters on this board are you "real" ? Or just a fake poster... Is this a real message board Real is what You make it, your idea..so not all will agree Some will say AAU is the real bb......LOL

Yes, kids got the word, He starts Monday.

Congrats, Green, Zeno from. WB and Dumas from Hardin all played together at Vincent MS.  And they all play AAU, at different times on same team and opposing teams.  Great watching these young men grow up.

Congrats to all of the players.  Congrats to Joubert, great job Laramie, and I am proud of those Hornets.  I enjoyed this season.
