1.
i changed my mind, i see a split in 17 and 18 4a, willis will be real strong along with humble, that should be great game, humble d vs willis o.... so willis might go small bracket and beat mag west, with humble hopefully playing mont and not stratford..but a split would be better for us then last yr...
Montgomery VS Stratford will be a huge game!  Loser, most likely gets Humble in the first round.  You don't wanna see the Humble defense in the first round.  Their D-Line alone boast 3 D1 recruits.  Not sure about the rest of their defense, and secondary, but that D-line is rediculas!  Note to Stratford & Montgomery: Take note when you play Brenham...  The Brenham & Humble defenses are very similar.  Both are loaded with D1 talent, and based on speed.  Humble is one of the only defenses I would put in the same category as ours. Magnolia West & Willis met twice last year, with MW winning the first game, and Willis edging them out by 1 point in the first round of the playoffs.  They meet again in the regular season this year...  It should be a very good game.
 2. It looks like Galena Park has a little talent.
 3.
dayton also has multiple kids getting looks from d1 schools..
I saw Fowler, and Jakari on there, but like Green, it didn't list any offers.

 10.
throw back will smith cut.. haha he a senior this yr? stats were so-so but im guessing that's because of the team he plays for and the talent around him.. will keep an eye out
Ya he was our #2 WR, behind Derek Edwards, who is now at Texas Tech.  Also with a D1 HB in the backfield, and QB that didnt hesitate to run, you got to share the wealth.  Also keep in mind, our defense scored a lot, and when they didnt they gave the offense excellent field position, which means a short field. *Best game was against Montgomery... 10 catches, 100+ yds & I think 2 TD's. He will be a senior this year.

 17. Article about the recruiting of Trémund "Boogie" Moore. With the most college level talent in the country residing right here within our tiny borders, numerous talented players will go almost unnoticed by the various sites. If I find a kid that I think is in the “notable” category rather than the “not-able” one, I’m going to talk about him. First up is a guy I know has game because I’ve seen him live. In fact, the first game I saw him play either Suchomel or Howell was there too. Wide receiver Tremund Moore obviously impressed whichever OB hired pen was there as he was actually ranked #28 in the LSR at one point after that game. Proving that a lot of ranking lists are a reflection of offer sheets, he has since plummetted. I try not to use lists as a ranking tool myself (though I agree they can’t be ignored), especially if I’ve seen a kid with mine own eyeballs. Not to second guess those guys on this issue, but Moore showed so much in that game and last year that he’s still a top 50 player in my view. After watching him against a very good opponent in Montgomery, I wrote this: Boogie Moore I’m not sure what his government first name is as the PA system in Brenham is the quality of a My First Sony, which is odd, because everything is funded by Blue Bell, and it’s all top notch. Aquatic center, imo. Body type–Probably around 6’1″ and 165 lbs. Either Curtis Brown coming out of high school, or Curtis Brown now. I’m not sure if he’s a Jr. or a Soph. I’ll find that out this week, but either way he’s young and has time to add some weight. Athleticism–Let’s lump coordination in on this too. I love the kid’s hands. I pointed out how he doesn’t let the ball get to his body. My friend quipped that he was already better than Jacoby Jones in that regard. I agree. Moore did have one drop where the defender was draped on him and he was thinking about his move before he secured the ball. That happens on all levels. He more than made up for it by routinely snagging the ball in traffic and then making quick moves. His best play was a bootleg by the QB where Moore caught the ball on the sideline and cut back to the middle of the field then back down the sideline then back to the middle. TD. Who he reminds me of–At first I thought a taller Brandon Collins was apropos, attitude aside. Then the more I thought about it, with his quick acceleration I was reminded of Dennis Northcutt. How he projects–I’d like to see him again, but right now he’s definitely Big 12 good. His ceiling depends on how much weight he can add. Probably a real solid #2 or #3 on a good team. I would later get some questions answered. His nickname is actually pronounced, ‘boo-zhe’ as in upper class, perhaps even snobbish. If that doesn’t get Texas to notice, nothing will. All jokes aside, he’s an extremely nice and respectful kid. Another question answered is Moore is indeed a 2012 kid along with Malcom Brown, Tim “I run on hot” Cole, and the Aggie duo of Adrian Bellard and Troy Green. If that’s not enough, Brenham has a couple other D1 kids in the class. To date, Moore has offers from Baylor, UTEP, SFA, Texas St., Minnesota and the recently added North Texas. Others will offer. He’s too smooth and too natural at the position to not garner more attention. His lone drawback is his stature. I’m not sure how he overcomes that or that he even has too. He wouldn’t be the first slight of build receiver to make a name for himself. I do know if he were 20 lbs. heavier, his list would be longer than Vasherized’s wedding dress and I wouldn’t be writing an article about him under this title. We’ll chronicle his recruitment here from time to time, if for no other reason to see if I know what the heck I’m talking about. If one more offer doesn’t come his way, that Baylor class that Art Briles is compiling isn’t a bad unit to join, and Moore knows it. I’ve got another kid I’m going to write about that’s situation is similar to Moore’s. His level of understanding the process and maturity is fascinating, and I think you’ll enjoy some of his quotes.
They won 5A with Malcolm Brown, but didn't get past the second round the year before, against 4A. (also with Malcolm Brown)
 20.
BrenhamFan, didn't Stratford drop from 5A to 4A a few years back??
Stratford, Spring Woods & Northbrook all dropped down from 5A the last realignment.  17-4A has so many big schools, that if we added Central,  (20-4A's largest school) they would be the third smallest school. (only bigger than Brenham & Waller)
Hey I understand, no problem at all.. 8)  That should be a great game @ Montgomery. Looking at last years scores, Montgomery and Houston Stratford gave y'all the best district competition last season.
The Montgomery game last year, wasn't as close as the score indicates.  The first half was pretty good, but we pulled away in the 2nd half.  They were down 31-18, and at their own 40 with under 30 seconds to play.  That's when Dobbins took off, running about 80 yards for a 60 yard TD.  They added the 2 point conversion, and went for the onside kick, but we recovered it, and took a knee to end the game. Now the Stratford game was a nailbitter.  We were down 0-10 at the half, and fought our way back in it.  We kicked a field goal late in the 4th to take our first lead, 20-17.  With under 2 minutes to play, Stratford drove down to our 40 and then took a shot at the end zone.  Fortunately for us, they threw at our best CB.  He caught the ball over his shoulder in the end zone seal the deal.  Stratford played us better than anybody did all year.
