Mercer with a TD pass. LM 35 GBall 12

10 mins left in the game. LM 28 Gball 12. Off a fumble, LM/GBall has a little pushing and shoving.  LM picked up a STATE CHAMPIONSHIP with Mercer who tranfered in from Houston Chavez.

LM gets the ball around their 20. A lateral pass is fumbled and run in by Gball.  LM 28 GBall 6 midway through the 3rd

GBall drive stalls after picking up Two firstdowns.  The punt is muffed and Lm gets the ball @ the GBall 46. 1st play for LM is a TD pass. LM 28 GBall 0 with 7:34 in tthe 3rd.  Yea, Gball needs to steal some talent back from LM and Texas City. But Galveston is losing residents and not bright spot looks to be in the near future. But that entire area of Galveston county is hurting.  LM losing kids to T.C. and to Clear Creek ISD and  Dickinson ISD.  Doesn't look good for those 3 schools (T.C., LM and GBall)

2nd half starts. LM driving again.  GBAll jumps offsides. QB throws to an open receiver while Gball defense stands still...aannndddddd he drops it!!!! :o. GBAll holds them due to Coleman (GBALL QB/LB) makes two great stops. Tors ball.

Gball only gets a 2yd run before the half 8). Halftime LM 21 GBall 0. Now to watch the Rice Owls!!!

LM is 5 yds from the endzone and Mercer is stripped by GBall 1;/LB and the Tors run it back to midfield with 44 secs left in the half.

GBall has a respectable crowd.  GBall just doesn't have the numbers to keep up. Don't know the rest of their schedule but they may have a "1 win in 3 yrs" record.

GBall drove to LM 30 yard line but punts to the LM 4yd line.  Tors hold LM to a 3rd and 12 @ the LM 1yd. Mercer (LM QB) does a zone read and runs to the midfield but another unsporstman penalty puts it at LM 35 yd.

G-Ball QB is the ONLY offense they have. Tooo bad he is the starting LB or he'd be able to do a lil more running. BIG kid, looks like a solid 220 LBS.

LM QB has scored two rushing TDs and one passing TD. Lead 21-0.    G-ball has fallen far since I lost to them in the play-offs in 1999.

Im looking forward to seeing how our district unfolds. Adding Deer Park to and already competitive district on made a play-off spot that much more valuable.  IMO it will be [in no order] LP,NS PAM and DP (sorry 'brook and CV we have lovely door prizes for you guys over by the punch table. And if any one sees Sterling, tell them they missed a heck of a season ::) ).  I don't see how we won't have a team in regional in both divisions with a rematch for D2. Here is to all players/coaches staying healthy and spirited competition. And oh yeah GO DOGS!!!

[/quote] LP0175 I think we have given you credit for owning PAM in the past but you sound like you still haven't come to grips with the fact that we issued LP a beat down in the Realiant. That's total disrespect we can sit here and make excuses for the lost in October last year. The one play were Singleton overthrew Seales wide open in the middle of the field for a for sure TD with 3 minutes to go in the game. Not one person has brought that up on here PAM gave you credit as the district champs. You still refuse to came to grips that you would give back all those playoff and district wins over PAM for one Regional win in Dec 2011. That's a fact [/quote]The best team won the game that day. I don't play dumb that La Porte lost or excuses for the loss.  I've simply MOVeD on to the 2012 season.  If La Porte has taught me anything the last 6 years is that That'll make another deep run.  BE proud that you made the finals but realize there is a long road ahead before you put La Porte on its heels.  Now if you want a "cookie" for winning last year, tough. You won the game now we start a new season. And no matter the results of this year's competition I'll still focus on 2013. Now, if YOU want to bring up 2012, I can bring up the previous 6 victories.
